Default Xtrons 7.1 android for ford transit.

    Hi All...

I previously had the XTRONS ANDROID 4.4.4 KITKAT and was using the IGO Software & MAPS as they are in offline mode and on SD. I want to try a better GPS if possible.

I am now getting the XTRONS Android 7.1 Noughat Ford Transit. Similar to above with SD CARD for Sat Nav.

Can one of you kind people point me in the right direction of getting the software, maps etc of a GPS which runs offline and is up to date with maps and possibly 3d with Post Code Search ETC. Am after a suggestion and maybe point where I can swat up on the installation.

Any help here will be gratefully received.

    Cheers All...

What is better? What is good for the other, it does not have to be for you.
iGO is one of very best navigation software for cars. Proven has one of the best routing algorithms.
Of course, navigation is as good as its good maps. First, get information, by local forums, for your part of the world, which publisher has the best maps/software.
If you want to experiment, you have a variety of editions on the forum and choose. Look in dedicated sections.
From general experience, the only one who can compete with iGO, is TomTom. Again, there are dedicated forum sections...

And, warm recommendation, do not rely solely on navigation, use your eyes and brain.

Many questions become very arduous, a lot of time chewed deja vu...Since we have lost all the year of work and effort, many people have no will to answer the same questions again. Me neither. Use a search, please.

I forgot, I got the IGO on, when I did it on the previous XTRONS I had to do something to make sure the time was right. I cant remember exactly what I had to do to get the time right. At the moment the IGO is say 6hrs ahead but on the XTRONS it is the right time. Have you any idea at all? Cheers.
