How did you check? Cyclops are not visible as saved waypoints.

Do you wait his permissions? Why? Try simulation if you remember some spots. Also you can check spots from any free database.
There are no other way check Cyclops without simulation. You can check for successful installation in menu -> system -> about device -> search in list for safety cameras. But for fact of showing and alarm you should go to simulation.

The first is coctail from speed and distance. Maybe anybody have got more info. You can find discussion on forum for Cyclops in dedicated threads.
The second is not impossible for Cyclops. For usual POI it is not problem usually. See dedicated threads if you want to see investigation but there are not tools that ready for use.

If you read forum with passion you could find extended info about France Cyclops.

So it is trick from Garmin side. The point of it is as you quote - spots with safety cams was replaced with dangerous zones of quoted length. It is not prohibited by legislation! The workaround take place only.

For others Cyclops you can read user investigation of Cyclopes format here...

    Ihave a question,
with my simulator i never saw red light camera (alarm was 50km) my simulator run at 47km! is it normal, alarm red light not come ?

The red light is in 50km zone and the GPS simulator ride at 47km in rural areas(Therefore unless 50km), could that the alarm red light created by Cyclops ever triggers for speed trap 70km (71km drive on my simulator) and for the speed trap at 100km, 108km drive on my simulator!
in short all the speed traps my gps simulates at least 1km more ?

So normaly no need km/hr for one red light alarm!

i think my nuvi 360 is told for saw picture with little red light same post number 7
so i saw banner text for speed trap with icone camera, but for redlight not working well ?
