    I think this needs clarification.
    I've tried the large (22.2MB) Sangeeta vpm file in Nuvi 265, 1390, 2350, 2460, 2455, 3790, 3490 and 3590. It 'bricked' none. If a newly added voice file did prevent a unit from booting correctly, it can simply be removed or the unit cured. No big deal. But due to the range of units i've tried it in, i doubt it will cause any problems in any unit that can normally handle TTS. I've left the file in all the above units units, even the ones where i knew it would be, it's proved to be, incompatible and with no ill-effects so far. The small file works only in x0, x2, x4 and probably 1x0 (but untested in last).

    2) model and series 2013 ONLY .....
    Maybe these voices are meant for that series, but they do work with other earlier units... mostly with 24xx/25xx/34xx, BUT the AU 2460 is NOT a device related to the 24/25/34 MTP units. It is more like a 5" version of a 23xx and has similar menu and settings as that series and the 37xx, and yet the Sangeeta voice works in it fine.

    EDIT: I now believe it's unsafe to try the new voices TTS2 in older units. I now know that the Sangeeta voice file i was referring to in the tests above is an older TTS(1) file.

    I think......dasilvarsa was referring to the fact a TTS" could brick an old series Nuvi and the answer is probably YES ... I heard the buzzz in this sense

    I think we're talking about The Sangeeta us that is a TTS, not a TTS2

    Anyway I did some tests with 22MB Sangeeta tonight and I made some screenshots I'll post tonite.... some weird results

    2) model and series 2013 ONLY
    It, however, refers to actual models series running current firmwares
    In the future we can not know

    Bye,bye

    @dasilvarsa; roger1109
    Sorry guys, you're right. Is spite of it's large size (22.2MB) the Sangeeta file that Roger & I tested is in fact a TTS(1) not TTS2 as you both politely queried above. Maybe there are other older TTS files over 20MB, but Sangeeta is the first one that i'm aware of other than Maged (Arabic).

    I think this is clear enough, we have a direct statement from Kanopus who tested one of these TTS2 voices

    Maybe you could place a warning on First Post

    Do Not Use TTS2 Voices on any Device Exept 2013 Series

    I too think that warning should be added. I've added an edit to my post #11 to clarify also.

    Also this voice may be compatible with Garmin StreetPilot application for other OS. In any case internal TTS voice for this program have this data but decompiled.
