    Default POIS are not saved

Hi there, this is my first post, hope goes here:
I own a Kenwood DNX5210BT and I downloaded a some POIS and converted to Garmin with POI Loader and saving them into a USB as it was a Garmin Terminal (poi loader detected it correctly).
Once done this I put the USB into the receiver and turned it on. After a bit, the receiver told me that the POIS were being saved into "internal memory".
After waiting about 1 minute the nav. app turned on and the POIS could be selected as a destination.
I turned the receiver off, extracted the USB and then turned the receiver on.
Once this was done, the POIS were not there.
Should I left the USB connected? Should the POIS stay in the internal memory?

    Thanks in advance.

Well guys, I have solved it. It was my fault, the way to store POIs is:
    Turn Off the Device
    Extract the USB
    Turn on the device
Put in standby mode and open Navigation
Go to main screen (navigate/view map)
Put USB and click Yes (copy POIs to internal memory).
