    Hi All!

Here I am again. Old Nuvi 310 in hand. Hoping to get some funny, cool voices for the kids, (and ME!!!) to enjoy on our holiday.

Just wondering, (I am thinking time has come to buy something a little newer) whether any of these voices will actually work in my antiquated 310.

Any one know? Your help, as ever, is GREATLY appreciated. Be blessed.

No, probably most if not all of the specialty voices are not compatible with 3x0 and earlier units sorry. You can check the 'Compatible Devices' tab on the Garmin website for the individual voices, e.g.:

There's a lot to check though:

Yeah, thanks Neil, I kinda figured it was gonna be a no go when I saw that even the free jobbies offered on Garmin.com weren`t compatible with the 300 series.

We`re off to beautiful North Devon for a fortnight on Monday, then I think when we return I`ll look at the long overdue update for my 310. I`ll ask you fella`s for some advise nearer the time.

    Be blessed.

It's either the Yellow Triangle or the Navigon Arrow you're wanting.

[Only registered and activated users can see links. ]

Your link for the yellow triangle was incomplete, probably a bad copy/paste from a shortened link/hyperlink:
    Code:
Please Login or Register to see the links
or if you want the Navigon Arrow as shown in your image:
    Code:
Please Login or Register to see the links
    This are the direct links:
    Code:
Please Login or Register to see the links
    Code:
Please Login or Register to see the links
Open *rgn with RGN_Tool and in first section save either 'unknown.bin' or 'pk_text.zip' as 'triangle_yellow.srf' or 'navigon.srf' then drop it into the Vehicle folder of your device. Or you can get an update via Garmin Express or WebUpdater. Or after connecting your unit to PC just drag the *.rgn to WU icon [or Webupdate.exe in your program folder]. Or here's the actual triangle_yellow.srf and navigon.srf in zip files: [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] and [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]. Extract directly to the Vehicle folder of your unit.
