Wher do you have vpm and unl on your device?
Do you have in root of nuvi in Voice folder?

Do you use Device ID to unlock vpm?
You can find device ID in garmindevice.xml

If you write that file is there, nobody can't know where is this.

I only have it in the voice folder in my garmin when its connected to the computer.
What is Device ID? - Is it a programme i need to download.
I have the garmindevice.xml in the root of my garmin, however, I cannot open it.
I havent done anything to the garmin, other than the unl and the vpm file

For unlock vpm file you must add your device ID in kg.

Do you add your device ID in first window or you write number 3838383838 inside?

    p.s.
you can open garmindevice.xml if you right click on it and clik open with notepad.
