Darth Vader - Voice & Vehicle bundle:

    Darth Vader
Submit to the commands of a Sith Lord. Follow my directions precisely to the destination you seek, but don't try to navigate to Alderaan. Trust me or I will find your lack of faith disturbing. Includes my signature TIE Advanced x1 starfighter vehicle icon.

Download the 2 RAR-parts and extract with WinRAR, WinZIP, 7-Zip or similar tool.

    Code:

Use the FID, PID, RgnID & VenID data above and generate unlock code with Jetmouse: [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]
Create DarthVader.unl & TieFighter.unl. Not sure if SRF-files are locked but it cames with TieFighter.unl when downloading the bundle from Garmin.

Place "DarthVader.vpm" & "DarthVader.unl" in the "Voice" directory of your Garmin unit.
Place "TieFighter.srf" (& if needed "TieFighter.unl") in the "Vehicle" directory of your Garmin unit.

    Master Yoda
Choose a Jedi Master you will. The lighter side of driving it is. Turn-by-turn direction you will get. Fun you will have. Giggle you will. Mmmm. Includes X-wing starfighter icon. Feel the Force, but don't think about jumping to lightspeed.

Download the 2 RAR-parts and extract with WinRAR, WinZIP, 7-Zip or similar tool.

Sorry for the dumb questions, honestly I have searched and read.

I've tried to activate the file for darthvader, and have run into a road block on my nuvi 255.

I tried re-naming the .vpm file to replace an existing one, and that fails. The english - britsh just disapears from my list.

Been reading the forums here for a couple hours, and have no idea what the next step is. I have the unlock generator, and filled in the family/product/region/vendor. I have the unit ID from the garmin web updater.

Where do I use the unlock code?

    Thanks

Place the DarthVader.vpm in the units Voice directory and also create DarthVader.unl there with the 25-character unlock code.

Cheers! That did the trick.. I've never done anything with the gamin before, lots of reading to do here.

Now my journey to the darkside is complete...

I think I just replaced my Avatar voice in my 200W, assuming these are NOT TTS voices.

Having trouble getting this to work with the unlock code?

I am using garmin unlock generator v1.5
I put in my Unit Id
Then I do generate map unlock but use the create function and put in the correct FID, PID, region ID and vendor ID.
I put this in note pad, save as .unl and then put it in the voice folder with the vpm file.

    Am I missing something?

Assuming that you have a compatible Garmin GPS - It should work if you generate DarthVader.unl (using 480,22,0,0) and/or Yoda.unl (using 480,23,0,0).
Make sure that notepad doesn't save the file as "DarthVader.unl.txt". If you saved it like that just remove ".txt" from the end. Also verify the generated codes with [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] to see if there's some error.

Thanks. I checked the code and everything seems to check out correctly. Still no luck though. My GPS is compatible and the files are only .unl files. DarthVader.unl and DarthVader.vpm are both in the voice folder. Thanks for your help.

EDIT: My device is not compatible. Thought I had the 250. Actually have the 350. Wasted a lot time messing around with this stuff. Whoops. Thanks for the help though. At least I got the vehicle icons

I can not get this to work for me. I have a Nuvi 1450 which is listed at compatible. I placed the .vpm and .unl files in the voices folder. I verified that the .unl didn't have .txt after, and that the code that I generated was valid. Any suggestions?
