    Default Interrupted speedcam voices

    I own a Garmin Nüvi 3760T. I installed speedcams and Dutch speedcam voices. With poiloader and sox.exe I put them on my navigation system. Everything goes well, exept the voice warnings. These voices sounds interrupted, like one has the hiccup. Somebody knows how to fix this?

    I've the same problem on my Garmin Nuvi 1310T with English speedcam voices using sox.exe in poilloader as well. Does anyone know a solution for this issue?

    I don't think so, because I use .wav files with sox and Garmin 3760T. I also tried another newer version of sox.exe, but that didn't work at all.

    I haven't done this for a few years now but I believe that the newer nuvis use MP3 while the older units use WAV. I'd to do a WAV-to-MP3 conversion, and it needed to be a certain bitrate. Might want to Google, check, and try...

    Ok, I use WAV files;

    Bit Rate: 256 kbps
    Audio sample size: 16 bit
    Channels: 1 (mono)
    Audio sample rate: 16,000 kHz
    Audio format: PCM

    But I doubt that it can be because of the bit rate, sometimes I use 44,100 kHz and the issue still there.

    Both the Nuvi 1310 and 3760 work with MP3 audio files.

    However, if one must use WAV files, the audio files must be of PCM 44.100KHz 16-bit mono audio format. Also, must use sox.exe version 14.0.1--NOT version 14.2.0.

    No, I tried the MP3 file on my 3760, but the only sound I get is Ding Ding.
    By the way, when I play the WAV file on the computer, everything sounds ok. So maybe it is because the Nüvi is busy with other things and the processor interrupts the sound (p.e. building the map).

    Remark, Nuvis cannot play MP3s but only WAV files, that's why you hear the default Ding Ding and not the MP3 files.

    Also maybe you're right Sjiep about the processor interruption because when I simulate a navigation indoor, it sounds perfect but when navigating outdoor, sounds are interrupted. I think this is normal till they provide another software update concerning this issue or till we get a workaround solution since it is not normal by default to get an alert sound that lasts for 6 or 7 sec for instance as it is the case in our warning wav files but logically an alert can only stand for less than 2 sec like that "Ding Ding".
