    Default number of POI max.

    I want to know if i'm right . I can make 20 folders and 30 files (.csv or .gpx) by folder, and these files can have 1 to 10 000 or more POIS , for a max of 600 files before my GPS become slow ??? If not what is the max. ???

    It depends on the storage space you have in your gps or sd, that's the limit.

    Yes but is the way to store them have to be 20 folders and 30 files or one folder 500 files wont effect the speed of the gps ???

    I think it depends on device and if POIs files contain jpegs or mp3s, must test and see.

    Better use SD for tests. I think there are limits and nuvi can behave unpredictable when you cross it.

    I have over 80,000 POI in 1 file on my Nuvi 265W - no additional storage, it works just fine.
