    Installation Guide

    The only program you need on your computer to install SpeedCams on your Garmin unit is WinRAR. ([Only registered and activated users can see links. ])

    The Speedcam Loader will overwrite your existing files (older Garmin EU Speedcams files) in POI folder to newer version.

    Please select the file that's used in your region:

    Kilometre per hour ( Loader_WORLD_SpeedCams_KPH.exe )

    Mile per hour ( Loader_WORLD_SpeedCams_MPH.exe )


    #1. Unrar the file you downloded.
    #2. Connect your Garmin device to the pc.
    #3. Start Loader_WORLD_SpeedCams_XXX.exe, use Browse button to find and select the POI folder on your Garmin device,
    #4. Press install..
    #5. Ready.

    First time users of Garmin WORLD Speedcams and road tolls files.

    #1. Unrar the file you downloded.
    #2. Connect your Garmin device to the pc.
    #3. Backup your old safety cam files and then delete them from your Garmin device.
    #4. Start Loader_WORLD_SpeedCams_XXX.exe, use Browse button to find and select the POI folder on your Garmin device,
    #5. Press install.
    #6. Ready.

    This is World Speedcams so it includes australi as well.

    pretty sure because after extracting the file into POI folder, I have a "world" option under Custom POI menu which include list of "Safety Camera" close to my location so there are at least some entries in there concerning Australia . I deleted the other POIs that came with the file and only kept the "world" poi which is the "euspeedcam.gpi" file.

    In order to keep your speed camera POI's really up-to-date, it's better to download them from POI -sites. In those sites, speed camera POI's are, more or less, constantly updated. And you can download only countries you really need and in different format's (i.e. for different navigators).

    Also other kind of POI's can be found, based on you interests (gas stations, pharmacies, hospitals etc.)

    Using GOOGLE, you can easily find several of them. Here is one (good) example:

    CH means Switzerland, not China
