Default Black screen after wrong update RT6 WipNav+

    Hello to all!!!
    Are absolute panic!
I tried to update the firmware to version 2.86 from RNEG2.75.c.5 but the result is that for more than four hours got stuck on the word "Upgrading preparation" .. no I could do most anything.
I had to switch off my 3008 Peugeot 2013 with RT6 WipNav + and I had to disconnect the battery.
When I restarted to retry the screen was black and inserting CD that is inside usb with different firmware I did various tests and charges down this blessed browser but after that starts with "average CRC media checking" and continues with the advancement always stops on the usual written "Upgrading preparation"
    I tried the firmware 2.77 - 2.80 - 2.85 - 2.86
I didn't find the 2.75 that was my original firmware installed!
    Can someone help me? tips?

    Hello,

It's not prudent to do the updates with the CD player from the vehicle when it has few years.
This CD player starts to have problems reading after, just use it for listen .mp3
With a good USB stick connected into the car, never problem for updating maps or firmwares.
You must to have just this files into USB stick FW 2.86 :

    rt6 fw

Turn on ignition motor, power off start/stop if you have it, no other USB stick connected, power on GPS, GPS mode, try to install again.
Accept update, be patient, wait unit boot again like before update (30 mn), don't be afraid screen sometimes is black.

    Hello,

You don't turn off the engine before the end of the update ?
You waited the WIPNav+ is started as early ?

I didn't find the FW 2.75, but the FW 2.86 must be installed, try with another UBS stick.
"average CRC media checking", the device looks for the files support.
Your RT6 is maybe broken, go to see your dealer for change it or yourself with a model of the damaged vehicle.

It's no easy to save your unit, I hope you go to find a solution.
