    Hi,

    Your post states that SMEG+ is fitted in cars since 2014. I have a C4 P II (2013) with SMEG+...

    Meta maybe a misinterpretation

    @kpajtler

    AFAIK, no Citroen ever came with a SMEG+ as opposed to some Peugeots. That is exactly what is in the pdf I linked to in my post.

    Maybe the SMEG+ gets confused with the Citroen-exclusive SMEG+i V1 which uses the same 5.x firmware because it has about the same features.

    Presumably, the two SMEGs are just too similiar.

    But I corrected my post to illustrate this more accurately.

    Greetz,

    I have a C4 PII (august 2013) and I thought until now it is a Smeg + systeem (firmware 5.4.B.R8).
    According to the explanation of Wayne it is a Smeg+i V1. (but with No mirrorscreen).

    I don't know what is ment by a "mirrorscreen".
    The mirrorscreen is the one in the dashboard, where I also see speed, indication for lights, airbags, temp etc. ?
    When I have selected navigation or temperature on the touchscreen, I see the info on the touchscreen but also on the mirrorscreen. For example when I navigate I don't see maximum speed on the navigationscreen from touchscreen, but I see the speedlimit on the mirrorscreen.

    Hi, I have a C4 GP 2015 extensive. I've smeg+, don't know if "+i" or not. The strange think is that Jukebox function is not available. Could it depend from "+i" or not?
    thanks

    unlocker jukebox needs to be loaded with files beforehand, p 346 of your manual

    Thanks Wayne for your answer.
    Before post I've read all the manual ad other forum.
    In my case, in "media list" menu, doesn't appear "copy to jukebox" function.
    So I'm thinking to three possibility:
    1. difference between smeg+ models -> my previous post (my fw is 5.x.x)
    2. only certain type of media could be copied to JB. In this case which? -> My usb file are played correctly in different folder
    3. Malfunctioning or something to unlock

    thanks in advance.

    Default No clue

    @Danil

    If followed everything in the manual, I have no further clue.

    1. You can try to upgrade to 5.4.B.R8 to see if it helps, but I doubt that.

    2. The jukebox does not convert the media, it really copies it. Its capacity is 8GB.

    Supported files are ".wma (Version 9 only) .aac,.flac,.ogg,.mp3 with 32 kbs to 320 Kbps, encided with CBR or VBR
    All files must have a sampling rate of a multiple of 11, i.e. .11, 22, 44 or 48 khz

    But this does not explain a grey-out button and if the files in question do play from the USB-key directly, the files' formats can be ruled out as a cause.

    3. A malfunction in the form of the stick you connected might be a cause. Certain 16 GB Sticks or greater don't always work, i.e. SanDisk.
    Furthermore, the stick must be FAT32 and the directores must not contain any names longer than 20 characters or special charcters like "" and the like.

    There is absolutly nothing to unlock

    After all, it might be a fault in your headunit. Can't completely rule that out.

    Greetz,

    Wayne
