    Possible reasons/solutions:

    - maybe a corrupted file(s) on a SD card. Format SD card and copy folder database again
    - Make sure you don't use Mac computer. Always Windows

    Hi,
It didn't work... I format the SD card in a Windows Computer to FAT32, copy all the items to the SD card and the car is not recognizing the SD card.
I also try the reset but it's not working... I cannot reset as saw in the video...
Any idea of what's going on?

    Best regards,
    Carlos Freire

    Hello,

You can try another SD card 16 Go class 10 FAT32 formated slowly, this first works fine with a WIPNav et no with another one ?
It's maybe like USB stick on anothers units who don't work, so another one works perfectly ?

    Hi guys,
I run out of options and your help would be much appreciated. I'm trying to update my maps but I'm stuck at the first step ie. upgrading the firmware to RNEG 50.03 R50B (currently I have RNEG_D_R27bis_R27.01).

I've downloaded the file (used link: [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] ,kindly provided by QUIN 1965 in another thread), then unzipped the file using 7-zip onto the hard drive, then copied the unzipped file onto an empty sd card (16gb, FAT32 formatted).

I've inserted the sd card into the slot in the car and nothing has happend, no message has come up, like the card cannot be seen by the reader/car. I've reboot the system using the function in the hidden menu but this hasn't changed anything.

then I've tried to do the same using the CD instead of the sd card with the same result ie. nothing is happening after inserting the CD into to the reader in the car.

I've tried various options; unzipping directly onto sd or copying the unzipped file onto CD then from the CD onto the sd but nothing seem to work.

Not sure what I'm doing wrong (I followed the instruction provided on this and different forums), perhaps I have a different system or downloaded an incorrect file or something.

    Any ideas anyone please?

    Many thanks
My car is Citroen C5 III (2010)

    Hello,

Copy to a blank card (Formated FAT32, Windows) the following files :

    r50

When the SD card is inserted, there is this message on the screen MyWay :
"The system update will begin, please do not stop the engine or switch off the ignition."
    Said "Yes".

When the update is complete, there's this message on the screen : "Updating completed data".
The GPS will ask again the update, said not, it takes about 20 minutes.
Now, you can remove the SD card and verify that the new version is installed.

Sorry, video in French, but subtitled in English.

Hi petedar, what kind of sd card are you using? I use Sandisk Ultra 16gb SD's. I heard you normally don't NEED to upgrade your fimware. I just today made 2 sd's for my brother-in-law and father-in-law. My father-in-law is on firmware v29 and my brother-in-law is on firmware v40. Didn't need to update firmware in either of their cars, they load the maps just fine. And as stated somewhere else: fw v27 should also be able to load the new maps without firmware updates.
