    Smeg+, all was OK.
I canīt see any difference or improve, but let's think new firmware is better, or will fix something you didnīt realize was there.
    Thanks for ask.
    Regards.

    Hi,

    I have a peugeot 308 II.
I tried to update to 5.4.B.R8 but it didn't work.
Tried on 2 different USB sticks that are 16gb (did format to fat32 etc).
What i could do is to add the peugeot alert points, with that i didn't have a single problem.
Did i do something wrong? Started my car waited for the screen to load and on my navigation screen i inserted my usb stick and it says Error no music file.
    info: SMEG5.2.A.R9 (CD 26028 from 03-09-14)
    DbDw_281/Gr_406 (CD 26028)
    31.1 (CD 26028 03-09-2014)

    Ok, i did a mistake...
You need to have a map called SMEG_PLUS_UPG with all the files in it, i placed the files directly onto the usb stick.
Now i got more response from it but it still doesn't work.
It says now you want to update from cd to cd i pressed yes.
    Checking for compatibility.
then i get a new screen saying that my engine needs to be started etc. i press yes.
Checking for compatibility again and after maybe 1 min i get compatibility stopped.
    And thats it...

    Hello,

You need to see about USB key only this file for 5.4.B.R8 : SMEG_PLUS_UPG
Try another USB stick, 2 or 4 GB is sufficient lagement, other larger capacity given problem.
This update works on a new 308 (T9).

I've successfully performed the update from 5.4.B.R6 to 5.4.B.R8 on my 308 T9 at the second try. During the first attempt, the SMEG+ rebooted shortly after the "verifying compatibility" message appeared (it was still fully functional, as if the reboot happened before any file was modified). Tried one more time and everything went smoothly, it took around 20 minutes to finish.

Hi, a friend of mine did the update on its 308 T9 + Smeg of firmware 5.2.a.?.
to 5.4.B.R8. but is not sure. He can not see it because during the installation process did not continue the update, now only comes out the logo of Peugeot.
He also did what you mentioned before disconnecting the batterie but this does not help, there is someone who may provide a solution?

    The Peugeot came on 09/2014

    Thanks luc
