    Hi,

I don't think the RT6 itself is damaged, only part of the software on the SD card as with the genuine SD card the RT6 Bluetooth and music is perfectly OK and the GPS is partially working.

As I stripped down the RT6 from the car it has been disconnected from the battery far longer than 15 minutes of no avail.

Well I am still searching a solution!

    Thanks for your suggestions anyway.

Here is the solution to my problem which can be a solution for anyone who inadvertently stop the engine during an upagrading:

START AGAIN ALL maps upgrading until you find the one during which you stop your car's engine: the GPS now is working perfectly as it should with the last firmware and the last maps.

Maybe your GPS antenna is misplaced or improperly connected..maybe even faulty. I don't think that your problem is SW related. But that is my opinion. You should wait for any other ideas.
