    Hello,

Post 1 you have FW 8.31, just burn it on good CD like "Verbatim".
After, you can insert it in your RT4 to update.
Be patient, wait unit boot again like before work.

    Hello,

I tried to put on CD with speed 1x, 2x, 4x, ... and still is the same problem "Please insert upgrade cd". I used Verbatim and maxell CD.

I also tried to change HDD, and the same message.

When I put the CD with firmware on radio, it trying to read for some seconds (the disc is running for few seconds), stopped running, and staying inside for around 20 minutes. When I put the audio CD on radio, immediately getting out.

I tried to use 8.31 and 8.20 firmware.

If someone had this problem, or what should be a problem.

    Thanks.

    Hello,

Do you have a RT4/5 in your car, I don't think so ?
Due to the firmware, you have something else ?
Do you can put a picture to your unit ?
What year is your vehicle 308 ?

    Hello,

It's a RT4/5, no problem into a first Peugeot 308, an excellent car.
you also have the fragrance diffuser, a useful advantage that makes prettier.
For me, the update CD is that of FW, otherwise I do not get the message ?
Another more relevant member will help you better like janch that really knows what hardware or anyone else.
I hope he will forgive me for having quoted ?

    Hello,

What is your current firmware on the RT4/RT5 ?
Your vehicle is old CD player, it's maybe tired for updates, but works for .mp3
I've seen here on a lot of cars since some years.
Do you have an USB port in your car, this unit has an outlet for it ?
Peugeot store has a special USB cable for your device in option.

    Hi!
I've a 308 Tecno 2008 with rt4, like jetonsad ( [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] )
My current fw version is: 7.10.C- 16
    I have only CD/Mp3 player.
Where the usb input should be placed? And if I buy it, where i should connected this cable?

I also tried to download Europe Maps - 2015/2016 [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]
I mastered the Italian ones, and when I insert the cd can load it, but then tells me that the cd is corrupted... I tried both CD-R and CD-RW, always written at 4x.
