    Hi everyone.
    I own a Peugeot 508 RXH that has the RNEG2.20.E.5 firmware.
    I tried to update to 2.86 posted in this thread with no luck so far.
    I'm using a 4Gb USB card formatted in FAT32. When I plug the card the system starts to check the media content. After a few minutes it returns an error saying that the media is corrupted or incomplete.
    I'm now on "debbug" mode and my first doubt is what should I have in the card root. A single folder (RT6-Soft) or the files and folders that are supposed to be inside the RT6-Soft folder??

    USB card
    -----------|->RT6-Soft
    --------------------------|->Application
    --------------------------|->Data_Base
    --------------------------|->db_dwnl_ppc
    --------------------------|->SIRF
    --------------------------|->UPG
    --------------------------|->BootRom.sym
    --------------------------|->CD.inf
    --------------------------|->Config.inf

    Or

    USB card
    -----------|->Application
    -----------|->Data_Base
    -----------|->db_dwnl_ppc
    -----------|->SIRF
    -----------|->UPG
    -----------|->BootRom.sym
    -----------|->CD.inf
    -----------|->Config.inf

    Thanks.

    Hello,

    "I'm using a 4Gb USB card formatted in FAT32", It's good.

    Use the second case, it's good.

    USB card
    -----------|->Application
    -----------|->Data_Base
    -----------|->db_dwnl_ppc
    -----------|->SIRF
    -----------|->UPG
    -----------|->BootRom.sym
    -----------|->CD.inf
    -----------|->Config.inf

    The job is finished when the GPS is rebooted (30mn).

    Thanks for the quick reply.

    I will give it a try today with two different usb cards. Maybe the problem is in the pen.

    Hi..

    If you're updating to firmware version 2.86b.1, I would recommend you to upload it through CD instead of USB... I've done it through USB initially and had problems (USB source just disappeared..see my initial thread in [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] )...

    Thank you

    Best regards

    Hello,

    The update works with a CD or a USB drive.
    But it takes a memory stick quality, not a low-end crap that makes mistakes.

    Hi everyone.

    I managed to update but only using a CD.
    Now I'm trying to update the maps but I'm geting an error. Something like non readable media (USB). I'm using a 8Gb Kingston USB3.

    I'm having the same problems with both parking sensors volume and phone calls eco. I'll try mirascript to solve the first problem. With second one I wonder what do you mean with peugeot's suitcase. Could you please detail a little bit further??
