    Thank you!

Mine stayed black after the flashing bootrom step for more then one hour. I was able to get it to update by disconnecting the battery and restarting with the USB inserted. (2.21)

    Dear all,

I've finally solved my problem today... now RT6 is finally recognizing MP3 again and playing them flawlessly

Let me just tell you for future reference, if someone has the same problem due to firmware upgrade...

After I changed the USB setting in RT6_CONFIGFLAG through Mirascript to "1" and the USB option reappeared in media options, despite the fact that the system would go to the main screen without playing MP3 whenever I select MP3 as the media source, I thought today in reapplying the firmware 2.86b.1, but now, through the CD (burned the firmware to a CD, and loaded it in RT6)... everything went OK, and at the end, when I inserted an USB with MP3, the system quickly detected it and started to play the MP3s automatically.

Thank you for the support Bricoman, once again.

Please fell free to ask anything regarding this matter, that you believe may be important to explain.

    Best regards,
    SkElEtIkO

Btw., are there any "release notes" for this or previous update(s)? . Simply would like to know what kind of updates such package includes.

    Thanks

    Hello,

I don't know "release notes" for this FW, but it's good for you to update your unit.
In general, an update brings a lot of improvement on GPS

    Hi there!

I had the same problem that my countryman skeletiko had and applied the same solution and...it worked! :D Thank you very much skeletiko and Bricoman!!

Btw, since this is my first, and although I know that this is not the appropriated thread, I would like to ask you for advise; not being a newbie on this type of subjects (I've already did two maps update, one danger zones update, firmware update and a revealed the Trip function), all this stills feels like dark magic to me! :D

    Mirascripts and DatExplorer!
Is there any definitive guide to it?
I found some of information, guides and 'hows to', but most of all just repeats itself, not bring anything new or taking a systematic approach to it.
Could you please guide me in the right direction?

Thank you very much for your help!

    Hello,

    Thanks for that.
Sorry, I can't help you, I don't use Mirascript, no need for me.
