    Default Does anyone know what device this is?

    Hi..trying to help a friend who has a device with no model or make info..
    Does any one know what this device is or what kind of navigation software it is supposed to be running?
    At the momentthere is no navigation software on the SD card so clicking the navigaton button does not lead anywhere.

    @joebloogs

    It is probably one of the many chinese none-branded gps devices which all works with the similar configuration...

    You should put Primo on SD. Also there shuld be 2 files on the root of SD: GpsShell.in and Shell.ini You must manualy create it with notepad and put inside this lines:

    in GpsShell.ini must be:

    [Navi0]
    start=\sdmmc\Primo\Primo.exe
    handle=Primo.exe
    stop=
    nowait=1

    in Shell.ini must be:

    \sdmmc\Primo\Primo.exe

    This is it, copy those 2 ini files on SD next to Primo folder (not inside!!) insert SD in your device and tap on the GPS icon.
    Hope this helps!

    in many of these generic Chinese you can choose the path of exe file to launch in options menu, no need for any kind of unlock or Shell...

    Yes, but on the many others, there is no GPS path option in the main shell so the path must be edited manually in the Gpsshell.ini file which is located on the SD root.
