Installing Navigon on 2-DIN system with wince 6.0 is not a very good idea (generally speaking)..Anyway if you get map error you should know why - either you don't have any maps or .nfs files inside the MAP folder.

You can temporary Install iGO8 and go to "Menu" >> "Settings", and scroll to "GPS". If the message is GPS receiver is connected", un-tick the "GPS Enabled" box and then click on "Autodetect". Wait for the scanning to complete and then click on "OK' where it says "GPS receiver has been detected successfully. On next screen click on "GPS" and read the "Port" and "Baud Rate". (in greyed out slots). Now you have the values which you can use in Primo (you must enter it into a sys file)

For those of you struggling with the Greek language, and still not getting GPS working inspite of following [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] instructions to the letter. Please delete the entire folder \Navigon\MN Settings\

This is the same as doing a factory reset. Next time you start then you go through the initial setup.

    I have 2 questions:

. How do I turn off the NAG / disclaimer screen at (every startup)
. How do I remove TMC, my China devices doesn't even have it - so don't need the logon onscreen in red whilst the system looks for a signal

    any tips?

    help

    Hello,
I copied everything to a SDcard. I have a chinese aftermarket Navigation/DVD Console for my Opel Corsa GSI.
The navigon app does open, but i have no idea if it works, since i'm Dutch..and the language is Greek. How do i change this to English or Dutch?
Hope to hear from you soon.
    Greetings.

    EDIT:
I got it working when looking up the comments and saw mikeroberts.
Now that i have it in Dutch language... i can't open my maps.
Everything works....except the maps. And that's basicaly the thing you use it for right? haha!

So.. when i click 'show map' or want to typ in an adress, it doesn't find any maps and the system crashes and goes back to my main menu panel of the console.
I have put .map files inside the folder named 'Map'. Is there anything else i need to place in folders? If yes, what files and in what folders?

Edit: this is the pop up i get when it crashes:
