Thank you to alazgreg and everyone else who posted comments and advice in this thread, you were all very helpful.

I have an in-dash unit that came with an SD card pre-loaded with a version of NDrive (though i'm not sure which version). My car went in for an insurance evaluation and someone there decided that the software would work better in their car, apparently. I only realised weeks later that it was missing when i tried to navigate somewhere and was met with a dead nav path. Awesome.

I have followed all the instructions, the program launches though i can't seem to get around the 'No GPS signal' error. I have changed the port and baud settings (a few times) but nothing seems to work. I have no way of checking what they are apart from what i found in the MapFactor settings - which i downloaded as a substitute. Port says COM1, Baud says 57600 and was working with MapFactor's free version. Sometimes, the Navigon program freezes then slowly fades out and gets all fuzzy too.

The only info i can get from my unit is that the OS is CN-PRIMA-ARM-SLC-V1.28 and the MCU is 4.05VT-5N9IN8R.

Any suggestions? Apologies for the long post...

    Dean

    Hi everybody!
I have more times read the whole topic but didn't found the solution for my problem.
I'd take all the things step by step what you can read here, but my 2-pins Chinese Radio (Cortex A9 1GHz CPU, 512 MB RAM, 7" Display, 800x480 resolution) doesn't worked properly on it. The "position following" was very slow, the different between my live positon and GPS position was sometimes more than 800 meter!
I tried to switch off all options which can to cause some "overload" to display my live position (3D viewings, LIVE and TMC services etc...) but nothing happened.
I have more times read all the files which can be important, but the solution not found. Until today...
Today I thought maybe the GPS config is not good, so I have read the whole topic and the files again to searching the settings for, and in a file I have found it!
Earlier I used iGO and I remember the GPS port and baudrate settings which is 2/9600 (Navigon default values is: 7/57600)
So if you have the same "position following" problem, you can try to change this values (or which value fits to your device GPS settings) in the file located in MN Settings/usersettings.xml.
    Code:

Now I have a very fast and accurate GPS software in my car.
    Thanks for it to all!
