Is there any guidance - how to update the Navigation Comand system for Mercedes? Do we just insert DVD in the drive, which is located in the back in trunk, or we need to insert DVD in the DVD changer, which is located in the cabin, and follow the instructions on the screen?

Thank you in advance for your reply.

I've inserted the DVD in the trunk's drive of the 2006 CLS but nothing happens when I turn the ignition on.

Is there a procedure we have to do to update the system?

    Thanks in advance.

This worked for my w211 2004:

Burn ISO file to (Verbatim) DVD - (minus) at slowest speed
    Insert DVD in trunk
    Comand should update automaticly

I don't know. I tried to put the DVD in the trunk, and nothing happens. When I put in the DVD changer then Comand APS updated, but doesn't display all the streets in the city, but only a little more than before.

I don't have a DVD-changer so don't how or if that works. The navigation DVD unit is all i know always in the trunk on the left. I burned it like a described and its working fine.

For me, will not load all streets in town. As you can see in the picture, only the beginnings of the street, and not the whole street

I don't know what the problem is, but maybe because I can't reduce burn speed to less than x8.

Unfortunately, no. Only the beginnings of the street, as can be seen in the picture. It's the same when zooming.
