Download the update from the official page of Kenwood
Unzip it at some quality 4GB USB 2.0 stick (Kingston/Transcend), FAT32 formatted, put it at turned off HU. Turn it on, it should finish in 10 minutes

Many questions become very arduous, a lot of time chewed deja vu...Since we have lost all the year of work and effort, many people have no will to answer the same questions again. Me neither. Use a search, please.

I´m not use IE to download anything, There is not a problem with the file downloaded, the problem is that the unit is unable to boot from external flash disk.
I´m talking with a person from South africa that could reflash my unit remotely, it is not cheap by me. The principal issue that I facing is that I don´t have the Full firmware (no upgrade file), I think that I could have a chance to recover my unit with a full version of Firmware.

But it is full firmware. Previous version is quite smaller.
This is a relatively common problem with Kenwood. I know that in these cases, people even took off the chip (Toshiba I think) and reprogrammed it on machine.
Try to unplug the unit from the current (electricity), drain all from it (press all buttons ), put card, then connect it back by holding reset button.
