Create a Garmin folder in dnx9260bt and restart your device, it should create garmindevice.xml.
Useless to copy it from another device because NV should create it every time you restart the device.
Cure is useful if pc doesn't recognize your device and it's made to format or to delete problematic files prevent Garmin to boot.

Try to describe which error you get with Webupdater and Garmin cure. After loading cure have you flashed it to original firmware?
What do you have in Garmin folder ?
Nobody can help if you don't give more infos about what it has been done and about current situation.

[Only registered and activated users can see links. ]this is what is in my garmin folder. i dont know if these files are the ones they should be in , if you see a mistake pls tell me . the problem i believe is garmindevice.xml is corrupted and i tried alll methods to recover it but no luck . communicator and carmin cure say that the "the garmin device is unable to program the requested memory region" which is a garmindevice.xml corruption.this model is again kenwood dnx9260bt.

So you can access your device in mass storage mode. This means that either GarminCure3 worked fine or you don't need it at all.
Also can you upload the original GCD file for your device?

In your picture you have garmindevice.xml inside but on kenwood garmindevice.xml is different compare tu nuvi.

    Try this:

Turn off kenwood and discconect cable from laptop

turn on kenwood but don't start navigation

    connect laptop and kenwood

start navigation and you will see prompt if you like connect to mass storage or to connect to work with webupdater.

    p.s.
in mass storage mode, webupdater don't see your device only in webupdater mode you can update your unit with webupdater.
If you wish, you can [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]
