All speedcam files go in the speedcam folder under the main Content folder.
Delete from everywhere else you may have put something, empty the speedcam folder and put your speedcam.txt file (it can be named anything as long as the extension is ".txt") in that speedcam folder. Nothing else.
Start or restart iGo/Primo and appropriate other files will be created within the speedcam folder..leave all these alone. The options for speedcams will then appear within Settings/Warnings/Alert Points (actual location will depend on your version of Primo and/or any skin you may be using) AFTER the next satellite lock.

    Default speedcam

so the SpeedcamUpdates.spud must be deleted?
as that file is in there.

Yes. You are starting from scratch. Delete everything except your *.txt file(s)...you can have more than one for different regions, countries, etc.
From that point, leave everything alone..new files will be created. If updating to new speedcam files in the future, start again as now..empty the folder and put new *.txt files there.

Look/search here for the most up to date file(s) for your area:
