    @akyprian

is Primo on device memory or Micro SD?
Only if I do not use compatible language to the Primo version, then I can not change - otherwise this by me never happen and I use device every day much hours and know about some troubles and have loose time to solve it, but allways, o.k 99% it was a mistake from me, system work good with right folders and files:-)

do you use loquendo7 - TTS loq for WinCe devices do not work.
In the voice package that you will install, there must be a folder LOQUENDO TTS (one single folder) - place this folder in your internal memory of device, I call it here /E:-- if Primo start from Micro Sd card, I call it /F:, place voice and so on in the root of Primo of sd card - (Content/voice)

If you have place the correct folder in E for your voice, you can select in Android then this voice - start primo, select there this voice and it work

I have just now test it -- I changed the system language and it allways stay/work with selected TTs voice and they was different as system language.

Think you have not save TTS LOQUENDO for your voice in E: (must be saved outside Primo root!!! in E )
language must be for your primo version and loquendo 7 is for Android, no WinCe TTs

    best wishes

    @ goss:

    Primo is on Micro SD.

I use loquendo7 - TTS for android which is ALSO on Micro SD. I have installed English & Greek voices and when I go to system settings - Language & keyboard - Text to speech output - Listen to an example I hear BOTH English & Greek sounds 100% ok.

The problem is that when I go to Primo, I hear English voice ONLY when my system language is English & I hear Greek voice when my system Language is Greek.

I want to have English as my system language and GREEK language voice for Primo. Is this possible?

PS. I installed Nuance TTS and I have EXACTLY the same problem.

o.k, will let you know what I have done, and I can change language setting in primo without problem -- changing from voice have not try, I have select german that I understand good, will not be effective to use other voice, because I do not understand and then surely drive wrong:-)))

The TTS LOQUENDO folder for german voice have place on internal memory of android device. The german voice Rar in Primo/content/ voice on Micro Sd card, language is german and in Primo/content/ language on Micro Sd card.

Before I start Primo I have select in Android Language german, and voice guide German TTS. Then started Primo from Micro Sd, selected there german as language and the german TTS Voice for guidance. Now I can change every language without problem-- have not try to change voice, but german is for me o.k

Otherwise try to delete the save folder from Primo -- then select in Android language and voice you need, start Primo and select it there again, think then it will work you like.
If you delete save folder from Primo, you will lose all adjustements you done before - its needed to make all again.

Only what I can say, it work perfect and no problems - so sure anywhere in your save file is anything that block and not a big problem. Try TTS Loquendo on internal memory to place and select then the voice in Android, maybe it will then work well

    Best regards

I wonder if anyone reading might be able to help.

I have Loquendo installed on my Tablet which is running Android 4.1.2 and have a problem setting it as the default TTS in my settings.

After installing it, Loquendo shows up in the 'Settings/Language & Speech/Text to Speech' along with the default 'Pico TTS'.
The Pico is set as the Preferred Engine' but when I tap on Loquendo TTS to make that my preferred engine it does not change.

Can anyone advise on what might be the issue.

    TIA

TTS Dutch voice works sort of... When it says a street name, it says vertical stripe percentage hashtag and stuff like that.
It is really annoying, someone knows a quick fix for this or is more information required?
I have the same problem with the german voices. Everything else works correctly but street names have this issue. Anything that can be done to fix that?

Read previous posts and 1st post, where are detailed instructions about installation of TTS and using, if you follow them will work ok, otherwise you have problem with your ROM.
