First of all, you need to learn more about speedcams, then will be less confusion at you! So try a little bit by yourself to research about type of speedcams, dbs, etc etc. , don't expect that always people will explain your some basic things, otherwise do what they suggest you, if you don't want to learn about matter...

If you read OP with attention, you would see there is 2 type of speedcam db - SCDB and poiplaza, SCDB - 1 speedcam file for whole Europe, poiplaza - separated country's speedcam files, at poiplaza you decide which speedcam files you'll use, you can use only one you need, or more them...

speed cameras from poiplaza are unrealistic and do not make sense. For each State has increased the number of cameras and over 300-500%. So foolish to take the relevant information with poiplaza and like her. Greetings.

    I think no:
    Speed cams in France....
The Decree of January 3, 2012 prohibits * to hold, carry, or use alarms of radar (GPS, detector of radar or smartphone) equipped with the function "alert radar" to report fixed and mobile radar in France. You have a GPS? To be in compliance with the law, it is necessary to carry out an update of your device. To do this, you simply connect your GPS to your computer with the supplied cord. Visit the website of the manufacturer and launch the update procedure stated by the manufacturer. This update removes display of radar and radar warning function disables. Now, your GPS will display a message when you arrive and leave a "dangerous zone".

TNX catymag, I klnow all that.
When I say "France wasn't updated since starting this year" is regarding the speedcam_F.txt file into the archive "SpeedCam_FULL_EU_2014.xx.xx.rar" is still 2014/01/04.
They are even other files dated 2012.
    Regards

poiplaza.com is free based poi-speedcam etc. service, so don't expect too much from free based service, if you want more updated, find some commercial service like scdb.info, pay subscription and you'll get more updated speedcams, and then share scdb speedcams with people here...
