    Japseye - There is nothing more needed - it works without a problem.

    If you want the sound warned - you need to change your entries in sys.txt - because those that showed in the second post are current for signaling verbal and not sound !!!
    Over more
    skin_off_sound = "speedcam_off" (CAM PASSED / BEHIND) - refers to the sound - so you have no right to hear it.

    Then write what you want to have (voice or sound) and we will improve. I assume that the speech at a distance of 400 m from the radar - is that correct?
    Change to test your entries and copy the sys.txt the following:

    [warning]
    cis_speedcams=1
    is_spoken=1
    speedcam_enabled=1
    speedcam_warning=1

    ; S P E E D C A M - C A T : 0
    [speedcam_category:0]
    warn_distances="120:1000,80:950,60:700,40:500"
    approach_beep_distances="400,400"
    approach_beep_spoken_type=speech
    approach_beep_speech="Warning!"
    activated_spoken_type=speech
    activated_speech="Speed camera ahead."
    skin_off_sound = "speedcam_off"
    min_frc=15

    Thanks for your efforts mate. I altered it just slightly because there is a mobile cam close to home so easier to test out live.

    [android]
    navigation_audio_stream=4 ;?

    [warning]
    cis_speedcams=1
    is_spoken=1
    speedcam_enabled=1
    speedcam_warning=1

    ; S P E E D C A M - C A T : 1
    [speedcam_category:1]
    warn_distances="120:1000,80:950,60:700,40:500"
    approach_beep_distances="400,400"
    approach_beep_spoken_type=speech
    approach_beep_speech="Warning!"
    activated_spoken_type=speech
    activated_speech="Mobile camera ahead."
    skin_off_sound = "speedcam_off"
    min_frc=15

    I hear spoken "Mobile camera ahead" just the once and (sometimes) "Warning!"
    Once again skin_off_sound = "speedcam_off" is totally silent unless I have the skin activated. Audio files are in correct folder.
    I usually use min_frc=1 although I do not understand what it does.

    Im beginning to get a bit embarrassed about not being able to get this function to work without skin.
    I tried the following but speedcam_off is still silent.

    [warning]
    cis_speedcams=1
    is_spoken=1
    speedcam_enabled=1
    speedcam_warning=1

    ; S P E E D C A M - C A T : 0
    [speedcam_category:0]
    warn_distances="120:1000,80:950,60:700,40:500"
    approach_beep_distances="400,400"
    approach_beep_spoken_type=speech
    approach_beep_speech="Warning!"
    activated_spoken_type=speech
    activated_speech="Speed camera ahead."
    skin_off_sound = "speedcam_off"
    min_frc=15

    I tried editing the last 2 parameters in every line in my speedcam.txt file
    from 0,0
    to 2,142
    this gave me no sound at all - only visual. I have yet to try 1,142 in speedcam.txt

    I am using an android HTC Desire Bravo handset and I am thinking that maybe your method is for iGO Wince. Hopefully I am wrong and need to do some more testing.

    Thanks once again for your great support.

    Hi - my method is for the Android! and works without a problem in the Samsung Galaxy Note 2.
    I wrote in the guide what you should do.
    If toi does not work - please write that apk. navi installed in particular, whether it is a "sys changed" or "sys not changed"?

    From what you write you have on your phone Android 2.1 - is that correct?
    Post which version of iGO installed and as I wrote your sys.changed or sys not changed?
    Perhaps your problem is caused due to the incorrect version.
    All the answers that you so far - including the addition of ux work properly! but iGO version 2.4 to support the Android which is necessary min. 2.2
    I greet
    PS. paste to post all your sys.txt - would look at what is there.
    Installed TTS - which one?

    I have been trying to solve this problem for a number of months now and have tried countless CAT variations. No skin sounds can be heard without use of skin.

    In fact I went to extremes today and installed a whole new sense ROM android 2.3.5. I installed Nuance for TTS and tried various voice files. No joy. Then installed Loquendo, still no joy.

    It is something that I can live without but yet I lose sleep over it. Why?

    Hi japseye

    A few additional questions - important!
    First version of iGO what date July 16 or July 17 (version of 16 had errors)?
    2 data.zip file - where did you get?
    3 What kind of skins you use most often and which versions?
    4 You install on your phone, or on the card?
    5. all TTS versions of which you wrote operate (talk) correctly in the other application's?
    regards wojpen

    Welcome japseye
    I have a solution for you
    1. First you need to make order out of TTS. So using aplikation's Manager on your phone, uninstall all previous applications TTS and clear phone from residues after them.
    2. From the android market, or my file in the folder that you 1stiGO (file vocalizer_tts_for_android.zip) install TTS. The voice file you Voice_TTS_Pro-eng-au-202.zip Android, or other Voice_TTS_Pro-eng-au-Android ver B.zip). Of course you can get IVONA TTS and corresponding to your voice.
    The condition for success is to run the rest of the correct TTS !!!

    If you finish it successfully it further:
    3. Copy from your phone to your computer to install iGO (the entire folder) for archiving!
    4. Again using the application manager uninstall iGO and clear phone with residues of previous installation (eg. Remain nng files - dump and check 2 times the phone and the card or something has been / and likes to stay /).
    5. Download from the links 3 files - 2 zipped rar - extract and 1 zip - leave unopened.
    6. on the card, create a folder iGO.
    7. Copy to him all the unzipped files + data.zip (TTS files listed above do not copy!)
    8. Expand the folder content / maps on a UK map, content / phoneme for phoneme UK, and POI POI uk.

    You already have a ready-to-install complete navigation.

    As you can see there are 3 files sys.txt - to choose one.
    Sys.txt file and 1sys.txt vary slightly - but in both signaling is implemented sound (sound files are in data.zip/ui_android/audio.
    3sys.txt file is structurally similar - but traffic is carried by the information read by the TTS voice.
    The choice is yours - but remember that if you change something before starting to clear / remove / SAVE folder and file in the root directory nng iGO, and the license folder.

    Notes:
    Everything is original and Unmodified, data.zip is a universal file without modifications.
    In the folder you already have leather skin but not the newest, but tested and working well.
    Speedcam as current - you can replace it for later - just all of speedcam directory delete and upload the new instance. Of my post New speedcam 09082014.

    As already do - let me know how it goes

    Remember TTS first rest later. And do not forget about the archive.

    3 files sys.txt, 1sys.txt, 3sys.txt - to choose one of them

    4 plikContent.rar - contents below - unzip and copy the folder iGO. Make up maps, POIs and speedcam.
