UX tool MapChanger for Android is so stupid... what about .hnr files and much other files ? they are splitted ? if any file of .hnr is missing, what then ? hnr will be combined between HERE+TomTom ? uhm... total chaos... we need a original MapChanger (with changing directory name) for Android

You could perhaps try gja map changer which keeps content in different folders

Yes, I think about this possibility. I can not seem to find the Internet useful UX-MapChanger for Android, which would benefit from the right directories for different maps. I'm tired of it :-).

I use Doupas-9.0b skin. There is the ability to enable choice for GJA tools. Then it turns MapChanger icon in the main navigation menu - unfortunately I don't know this MapChanger set. But I think MapChanger included in Doupas skin apparently works as a classic Android MapChanger - this means that all maps are in the same shared folder.

If you want to use the the GJA mapchanger you must download and install the GJA apk, then enable it in the Doupas skin. It works well but I think it is important to have some map in every folder even if just a basemap.

You are right that the mapchanger built into the skin is the same one you are having trouble with, and it only allows 2 map providers

The use of third-party programs I think is ineffective. I do prefer Android to install a direct "starter" for iGO, where it's possible to change (switch) directory for files with maps.
The "launcher" (by arimi) is here:
