    Thanks pois are also working now, although I have paid version navimaps its graphics is not good compare to iGO maps, I like iGo, with new maps this will be my main navi ap. Thanks evry for the help.

    what if map folder have more than 1 map how to know which one is loaded, and do I need to rename it or any name will do ?

    What do you mean by "more than 1 map" ?
    More than 1 country map? Then the map of the country you are in is loaded.
    Maps from more than 1 mapmaker? Never tried it but that is not recommended. Can't guarantee the program won't crash.
    If you mean "maps from more than 1 mapmaker" do a search for "mapchanger", then that is what you need

    More importantly the question should be "How do I know if the maps are correct and being used?" The answer is, check under content for map; look under About.

    Where would you put Text to speech files and will the software automatically start reading out the street names or you have to enable the voice ?

    I think that's where any you add yourself are stored.

    EDIT: Even though it's .spud extension it should be just a plain text document format that can be opened with Notepad etc..

    Interesting, thank you for the correction.

    The image below shows how the .spud file displays when viewing it's folder using the Debian operating system.
    Before any custom alert points/speedcams etc. have been added it shows as a plain text document, which is why I believed that's what it was.
    Once one point has been added it then shows as 'unknown' for the filetype.
