I'll let them like this or I need to put them from each folder, directly in maps folder?

    maps/*.fda

    etc

No more separate folders in maps?

You will have routes calculated, but it will be slower (calculation) and they will not be optimized as much as possible.

can we use Here maps for igo instead of navteq maps that I have right now?

If yes, how to put them in already running Chinese Double Din Car DVD without having to unisntall everything.

    Default Info

"Navteq (styled as 'NAVTEQ') was an American Chicago-based provider of geographic information system (GIS) data and a major provider of base electronic navigable maps. The company was acquired by Nokia in 2007/2008, and fully merged into Nokia in 2011 to form part of the Here business unit."
from:[Only registered and activated users can see links. ]

"Tele Atlas is a Netherlands-based company founded in 1984 which delivers digital maps and other dynamic content for navigation and location-based services, including personal and in-car navigation systems, and provides data used in a wide range of mobile and Internet map applications. The company competes on a global basis with companies like Navteq, as well as with local map suppliers in individual countries. Since July 30, 2008, the company has been a wholly owned subsidiary of automotive navigation system manufacturer TomTom.[4]"

    Conclusion:
    Here is the same Navteq
    TomTom is the same TeleAtlas

    Navteq is now named HERE.
Copy your old maps to our PC (so you can go back if something goes wrong), then replace the old maps by the new ones.
