    Default resolution problem

    Hi. I downloaded this version of Igo 9.6.29.596752. I've got LG GPAD 8.3 1920X1200.
    My working Igo resolution is
    1920_1104 landscape
    1200_1824 portrait

    my sys.txt:

    [device]
    devtype_fallback_to_model=1

    [android]
    fullscreen=1
    tablet=1
    has_physical_home_button=0
    create_sdcard_dir=0
    show_status_bar=0
    getdeviceid_trycount=0
    upside_down_bug=1
    ;navigation_audio_stream=4
    disable_restart_after_phone_call=1

    [rawdisplay]
    highres=1
    driver="gdi"
    force_renderer="RENDER_MOYA"
    screen_xy="1024_768:1824x1200/1104x1920/:fullscreen"

    [interface]
    vga=1
    extra_settings=1
    save_checksum=0
    maxzoom2d=6000000
    minzoom2d=15
    ;show_glonass=1
    PROBLEM:
    I've noticed that If launch Igo in portrait mode and turn over landscape the resolution isn't adjust. If launch Igo in landscape mode (resolution ok) and turn over into portrait the resoultion isn't adjusted too.

    What's wrong ??

    when I lauch portait:
    DqQWIO2
    when I lauch landscape:
    JjlKFJS

    only this works correctly:

    [rawdisplay]
    highres=1
    driver="gdi"
    force_renderer="RENDER_MOYA"
    ;screen_xy="auto"
    screen_x=1920
    screen_y=1104
    screen_x2=1200
    screen_y2=1824
    but how do i know if my resolution based on 1024_768 ?? (i've got data 1024_768 , 800_600 , 480_272)

    I have the same problem on my lg gpad 8.0, a "simple" solution is to use screen_xy="detect" but only in the sys.txt integrate in the apk.
    Yep igo need to read this option at first boot.

    If you want to try it, use the version "detect" in this post => [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]

    Delete your save folder before.
    For your resolution it's defined in multimode.ini if you not override it, with a high res it's maybe divided by 2 and so it uses 800*480 ...

    Default increase res?

    For your resolution it's defined in multimode.ini if you not override it, with a high res it's maybe divided by 2 and so it uses 800*480 ...
    Honestly I'm not satisfied with my resoultion 800x480, too big pixels on 8,3' screen.
    Would be possible to increase resolution in my device by putting some branding or skin or something ?

    martin89, for your resolution NNG recommend to use 800_480 folder by double_pixel_mode ( 1600_960 px -> 1920_1080 ) .
    You can try to use 1024_768 folder ( 2048_1563 -> 1920_1080), but it is possible that the device to be slow :

    - add in sys.txt
    [rawdisplay]
    highres=1
    [interface]
    vga=1
    double_pixel_mode=1

    - Using Total Commander edit data.zip\ui_android\multimode.ini :
    ;m1=400..480,196..320,"480_272"
    ;m2=234..320,400..480,"480_272"
    ;m3=800..960,400..600,"800_480"
    ;m4=480..600,700..960,"800_480"
    m5=600..1400,400..1000,"1024_768"
    m6=400..1000,600..1400,"1024_768"

    costas3850, thx for advice
    I did exactly what you typed. Now I can see more details like names of highways what is better for me but buttons remained too large.
    It's only work correctly in horizontal mode. In portrait mode screen is cut off.

    Horizontal:
    qVZtSv6
    Portrait:
    qmRwW2q

    Martin89 - Look into still here ->[Only registered and activated users can see links. ]
    And here -> [Only registered and activated users can see links. ].
    Resolution - the resolution, but are also important (and perhaps primarily) aspect ratio ...
