    patch

    @ Brown Dog
I think you can do it! No problem my friend
Maybe can help us cacou13 and Djeman.

    @ cacou13
Please ask Djeman if can do something to help us with this patch.
Because is the best solution to search important POIs in google and import then to iGO.
Here local search has nothing to compare with google maps.

    Hello guys

I'm trying to install to my SD card on Android Kitkat and I'm getting the following error:

    Missing or incomplete folder:
    /data/data/
    com.nng.igoprimoisr2013march24.j
    avaclient/sys.txt: open failed:
    EACCES (Permission denied)

I have a rooted samsung galaxy phone

Can someone explain to me what should I do with the data.zip file?
And where do I get and put this sys.txt file?

    Thanks

If you have rooted device - install from Market SDFix and it'll change platform.xml in /system/etc/permissions...
Thats all! Now you can install iGO and other programs at external card!

    Thank you very much!
You definitely deserve a few beers

It seems that rooting was not enough to allow applications to write on the external card

Installing and running SDFix fixed the issue that I was having with this version, though I'm not sure which version of the APK I installed and gave the error

I don't know what's the difference between the one with +sys and the one with -sys

I assume that the one with +sys has the sys.txt file inside the APK and the other one with -sys obeys the rules you put yourself in a sys.txt file
It would be nice if someone explains to me if that's the case or I'm wrong, thanks

Also it fixed the issue that I was having with another version taken from

    Spoiler: here:
    Code:

For that one the language and other settings were not saved

Anyway, for anyone who want some simple steps go install this version here's what i learned throuh trial and error

    1. Create on you external SD card a folder named "iGO"
    2. You need to copy inside the "data.zip" file
    3. At the same level( side by side with "data.zip" file) you need to create a folder called content
    4. Inside "content" folder you need to have 4 folders(create them):
-global_cfg -shows info about contries, see: [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]
    -lang - interface language(GUI), I put "Lang_English-us.gro"
-map - maps and other files, see [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]
-voice - audio language for giving directions, I put "Voice_Eng-uk-m2-lua.zip"
    5. Install "iGO_9.6.29.581400+sys"

The files that I had to put in these different folders come from 4mobiles.net, you can see the first link, I think most of them you can find here too
These are only the essential folders you need. I got error messages about not having these

The only error that I could not solve is at first start(only the first) a page "Log Collection"
    Error loading file: i18n/800/480/bg_collection.xhtml

It's asking me something which I can't see with 2 Yes/No buttons at the bottom

I assume it ask if I want to reset to factory settings or to start the configuration wizard because pressing "Yes" gives the configuration wizard

    Thanks

Guys, I'm wondering if anyone has tried to modify the igo apk to get the "immersive mode"?
    Code:
Please Login or Register to see the links
I understand there are some apps such as GMD auto hide soft key and GMD immersive mode that can do it universally or to some app (GMD immersive), but there all have some problems. For example, I'm perfectly fine with the nav bar when using some of the apps that I need to quickly hit the "back" key, so if the nav bar is hidden, I will need to constantly swipe it out. I only need the immersive mode on igo/waze or other GPS app (nav bar cause some problem using skins which involves too many edits in the resolution to get a skin load at any given mode). GMD immersive can do app-specific setting, but has some bugs such as failure of bringing out keyboard when needed.

I searched online for "igo hide nav bar" but did not find any concrete solution, there was a 2014 thread for igo apk mod in order to get immersive, but nothing newer.

BTW I'm using LG G2, so no physical keys in the front.

Hello guy. I'm probably to stupid, but I cant run it on Lollipop, also cant root the phone, to lose the warranty. What and how I should install the iGO, to get it done well? I'w try'd different ways, and always get the license error at the end.

    Thanks
