Hello, Been reading this thread with a lot of interest! even though the thread is aging it goes to show I for one have found some information. I have been having the same exact problem with my GPS receiver, I have a SinoSmart ST-707 which was made in China. It came with an igo Primo 2.4 maps card that has worked flawlessly. I recently bought a newer igo maps card version 9.2.0.192885, Jan 2016.

when I loaded it into the GPS receiver it showed my location as in London but I'm not in London I'm almost 90 miles from London!! it also informed me the GPS receiver wasn't switched on but gave the option to enable it which I did. now when ever the GPS map is turned on it says "Auto detecting GPS Receiver" I could leave it al day it wouldn't find anything! I know my Receiver is working good as my older Maps card always works.

I've taken note that deleting the "save" folder may help but I'm unable to do this as I don't have the means of a winCE computer! is there any other way of deleting the folder within the receiver? or how do I turn the GPS receiver off again since the receiver is working as it should be.

Connect device to PC and delete folder, or get out SD, put in PC (notebook) and delete folder.

There can possibly be program with that version, but not maps, and not from Jan 2016.
This thread is for Primo 9.6.13.351648 which is absolutely different.

Thanks for the reply, as I said I haven't got any means of deleting the folder as I have no PC, notebook or tablet that has winCE on it! the only hardware I have with wince on is the GPS receiver itself, I can't see how I could connect the GPS receiver to my pc ? as for the program version it clearly states iGo Primo navigation Software 9.2.0.192885 dated Jan 29th 2016 of cause I know is not the same as Primo 9.6.13.351648 I was merely pointing out I have the exact same problem as the original poster of the thread ..... I still need to find the means to delete the "save" folder hoping this is course of the problem.

    @ Korabi

Thanks for the info, I have sent the seller a message of complaint giving the info you have given. I'm not at all happy giving I bought this from a very well known seller with an excellent worldwide reputation! and it wasn't even that auction site !!!!!

It is not the fault of the seller but the Chinese manufacturer
