    Dear Frontzosd,
    Everything in post no. 91 (Smooth Skin for Avic V9) is just perfect and superb!
    I got both my wish-list items(distance travelled and Short-cut to Search) in this release.

    You are a genius!

    I tested it live on road!

    Look forward for such enhancements towards perfection.

    Thank you so much.
    Regards
    Dinesh

    How we disable house numbers;
    1) we disable the house numbers on the top...first

    We open data zip
    Inside file navigate map. Ui

    We find ,and disable this section

    Spoiler: spoiler
    ;<DIV class="housenumber">
    ;<TABLE class="housenumber">
    ;<HBOX class="housenumber left" >
    ;<HBOX class="housenumber_container left">
    ;<SPRITE class="panel map" z=10 position="absolute" onrelease=sc_WhereAmI/>
    ;<TEXT class="housenumber left" text=(%navigation.car.lefthousenumber)>
    ;<SPRITE class="housenumber left svg" box_align="center">
    ;</HBOX>
    ;</HBOX>
    ;<HBOX class="housenumber right" >
    ;<HBOX class="housenumber_container right">
    ;<SPRITE class="panel map" z=10 position="absolute" onrelease=sc_WhereAmI/>
    ;<SPRITE class="housenumber right svg" box_align="center">
    ;<TEXT class="housenumber right" text=(%navigation.car.righthousenumber)>
    ;</HBOX>
    ;</HBOX>
    ;</TABLE>
    ;</DIV>

    We delete, or we put this ;
    In front of <

    2)The second part..
    We must disable the house number on the bottom.

    We find this code in navigate map .ui

    Spoiler: spoiler 2
    <DIV div_cockpit_bottom class="fill">
    <DIV class="current_street">
    <HBOX class="current_street">
    <HBOX class="current_street_container">
    <SPRITE class="panel map fill" z=10 onrelease=(%navigation.is_in_simulation ? undef : sc_WhereAmI) position="absolute"/>
    <ROADSHIELDTEXT class="current_street" />
    </HBOX>
    </HBOX>
    </DIV>

    AND
    1)WE MAKE A CHANGE IN CODE

    WE DELETE
    The word ROADSHIELDTEXT
    AND WE WRITE <TEXT

    2)we rename the class="current_street"
    To class="current_street1"

    Because WE WANT TO CONTROL THIS CLASS FROM
    templates.css
    File

    The reason is : we have the same code
    Written more than one in css files..

    So we write the section
    Like
    This

    Spoiler: spoiler 3
    <DIV div_cockpit_bottom class="fill">
    <DIV class="current_street">
    <HBOX class="current_street">
    <HBOX class="current_street_container">
    <SPRITE class="panel map fill" z=10 onrelease=(%navigation.is_in_simulation ? undef : sc_WhereAmI) position="absolute"/>
    <TEXT class="current_street1" />
    </HBOX>
    </HBOX>
    </DIV>

    After that we open file
    Templates.css..

    And we find this
    Section

    Spoiler: spoiler 4
    ROADSHIELDEDTEXT.current_street{
    left: 0; top: 0; right: 0; bottom:0;
    font: defaultbd; fontsize: 24; color: map_main_color; align:"CENTER"; valign:"CENTER";
    padding:text_padding;
    textmodel_wstr:"navigation.car.current_street_with_shield";
    wordwrap: 1;
    }

    There we make the same changes:

    As below:

    Spoiler: spoiler
    TEXT.current_street1{
    color:#005Df4;
    glowcolor:#FFFFCC;
    glowsize:4;
    glowtype:1;
    fontsize:42;
    left: 0; top: 0; right: 0; bottom:0;
    font: defaultbd;
    align:"CENTER"; valign:"CENTER";
    padding:text_padding;
    textmodel_wstr:"navigation.car.current_street_with_shield";
    wordwrap: 1;
    }

    ROADSHIELDTEXT to TEXT
    AND
    current_street TO current_street1

    And we give color, glowcolor , glowsize
    As the others

    color:#005Df4;
    glowcolor:#FFFFCC;
    glowsize:4;
    glowtype:1;
    fontsize:42;

    Enjoy it!!!

    Well I tried to delete only the upper house numbers...FAIL! Wont run.
    played with some of the settings I thought applied to the upper...FAIL!
    Methinks my logic and the software are not on the same plane.
    Guess that's why I have always been a hardware guy, software; not my cup of tea.
    Your fix works great!

    Dear Frontzosd,
    Thank you so much for the updated skin.

    Well, I just returned from a long drive and noticed that the distance counter (in the meters) is troublesome specially for long drives because the number of digits (5-6 digits in my case) just go crazy on screen.
    I have a small suggestion, if we can change the formula to distance/1000 (that means, distance in km=distance in meters divided by 1000). This will result in to smaller digits on screen like 150.5 (in km) instead of 150500.

    Your comments and suggestions please.

    Regards
    Dinesh
