I've posted latest data.zip and the_skin.zip in post #536, see if that fixes your problem. If not, you might have to do a data clear, and if that doesn't help, you might have to reinstall. Or live with it not working.

I have no idea why it's not working. Datafields changes are only in data.zip and GPS Information changes are only in navtools.zip

Update: Looking closely at your snap, I just realized that the datafields changes are in effect but not correct* for
    1. Portrait
    AND
    2. No route
If you check in landscape or when there is a route, the fields changes worked!

    * Look closely near the menu icon

Update2: The datafields problem for "No Route" in portrait is fixed in post #536

Just tried fresh install .... same issue datafields seem to be messed up.

Going back to old data.zip (well, the prev version uploaded by you) removes the mess behind the right bottom button and leaves the altitude together with the directional arrow in place (on the left)

GPS Information still does nothing, can live with it as can access the gps screen using ux button

Here is the edited the_skin so that zervdim's phone_in_cockpit is white

You are right, my explanation was not precise. The landscape works 100%, unfortunately I am the portrait user ... any chance to move the graphics from under the right bottom button to the left?

There is a bug somewhere, like I said with Route, there is no problem with portrait. At this point in time, I have NO ideal why the problem exists (and selective)

Is 'Least' and 'Most' referring to the number of miles on the Highway/Motorway or Time taken.

As a truck driver most miles would be advantageous as it is often quicker and economical to drive round the town and reach the destination than go though it. I often have to ignore the route and drive say to the south of the town then head north to the destination.

Think the algorithm that creates the route is designed for cars then truck/lorry restrictions are worked around, so I'm still expected to drive a 44 ton lorry through a town at the same speed as a car to match the route calculation. Pretty sure it restricts the maximum speed to 50 mph and not reduce the overall average speed through towns.

Most miles on Highway/Motorway would be of great use to me

Least/Most Highway referred to a route that give lower/higher priority to "highway" It doesn't always mean minimal distant nor time taken. These are heuristics used by routing engine and not accessible* by programmers nor users. Truck restrictions are a different thing and depend on .ftr files. Earlier version of iGO8/Primo has these routing methods but NextGen left them out.

    * so I have no idea what the heuristics are and how it make the selection

It was a tough call to leave primo as it also had driving hours notifications and logged breaks and rest periods, but nextgen looks so much better. Pity these aren't on nextgen.

    Great work as always O4i
