I've hacked proggy to allow "Automatic Overview" for Highway or not Highway. Since the condition to activate the overview is determined by proggy; not all roads will have overview capable. The addition setting of "Automatic Overview for Highway Only" is added below "Automatic Overview" under Settings->Navigation View

Did you actually check to see if roads other than highway actually gets automatic overview (an airplane icon instead of 2D/3D/2DN)?

    I did and actually works

This was much needed, I hate that overview option. I think my friend you did it all.

The only remaining thing but very useful missing now is SEND FROM GOOGLE MAPS OPTION like djeman PRIMO. Very useful but nobody managed to do that with NEXTGEN

Thank you for all your great work. This ux is great, no more stupid overview.

EDIT: Sorry just tested highways so far...but have not noticed any issues with other roads. I will keep testing but so far it works.

Originally, "Automatic Overview" or also known as bird eye's view, is only for "highway" (as defined by map engine) I think this capability was originally created to give overview of long distant* travel. But there are roads that are not "highway" that are also long distant, like country roads. Having overview for these roads would be nice and it was requested in another thread.

    * no interruption such as road intersections nor stop sign

Hi, I updated to the latest ux and data.zip last week and done a bit of personalising, including the location and postcode box being moved to bottom right. Everything was fine until I was using it a few days ago and a circle appeared in the middle of it. I've done a restart and cleared data in the app but no change. Any ideas?

Also I posted an issue with junction view mixing up dir icons but couldn't get a screenshot (trying to do it while driving a 45 ton lorry is not advisable) until you added the screenshot option.

This hack remove license check for using Raster image. I don't think Basarsoft needs it, but it should work on other "partial" cracked proggy. Do not post question on how to create/get *.raster file in this thread. Look for instruction here [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]
