    Concerning "z"

Concerning the "position bug", I'm assuming you're trying to align grand compass in center of speedometer for portrait. I don't have problem doing that on my phone. The positioning variables are independent between speedometer and grand compass so they shouldn't interfered. Post snap of position close to area of problem AND the config screens of speedometer and grand compass.

Correct, the grand compass that is and yes, in port only, pardon my lack of precision. I do not dare repeat the bug, it is way too consuming (time and myself) to go through the ordeal again as the almost perfect settings are always different in port (at least for me). The map image is in my previous post.

Spoiler: These settings are the closest to the bug area

Btw, I managed to set my battery perfectly (according to my needs in port and land) and did the same thing for 2D/3D. Just one question, if I set z to 1 in 2d/3d and to 2 in route/simul does it mean that the uppermost button will be 2D/3D and second upper most route/simul?

    PS

Please, have a look at the digital speed vertical position (Y) in speedo in port and land. I would like to lower it so that I can see the "South" direction (it looks great in land, but not in port). I guess I can do it manually in css, but .... :-)

I don't keep the released versions on my PC or phone. You will have to play with adjusting any positions on your own. No idea on what the following means:
"Just one question, if I set z to 1 in 2d/3d and to 2 in route/simul does it mean that the uppermost button will be 2D/3D and second upper most route/simul?"
Each buttons have its own settings. I already told you what "z" means. If you want one graphic to be on top of another, you set its z higher. You can adjust the "digital speed" position via its x and y properties.

Wouldn't it be great if you can have a widget that allow you to select a function via long press and then select a value from that function via press? We then can "combine" several buttons into one, like:
    1. 3d/2d/2du
    2. day/night/auto
    3. far/normal/near view
    4. high/medium/low tilt
The Omega class button does just that. Also known as the Multi Selector...Keep your eyes out for it, coming soon!

Update: Hmmm, this doesn't seem to attract too much interest. I might just keep it to myself, lol! Sneak peak

Now you telling me, after many hours spent trying to adjust the looks of the button???? Just joking, what a great idea, can't wait to test it.

The Omega Widget is an alternative to the buttons not necessary a replacement. Some people will probably still preferred the buttons. So your "tweak" of battery wouldn't necessary be a waste. The magic of ux's is that you pick and choose what you want to use. Fair warning: If I were you, I would hold off on messing with Speedometer, a major rework is in near future.

I did a check on the housenumbers on the bottom of the screen, but appears that the numbers on the left are switched with the numbers on the right side off the road. So the numbers on the screen are oposite to the road. I think it has to do with the driving direction because the order of the numbers (2,4,6) is just right.
As an example: if I drive in a street the numbers go 2,4,6 on the right site of the street, but the screen shows 1,3,5 on the right site.
I use TomTom maps The Netherlands.
Is this a bug in the UX? Primo 2.4 shows the right order with the same map.

It's a bug found a while back, the fix is in data.zip to be posted later.

I've spent some time fixing up Volume and ViewMode. Now they look much better when there are 4 to 7 buttons in sidelist. Sneak peak
