    I do not see the icons but I see maps and I can choose them through the mapchanger (I see TomTom and HERE options)

    But, there is [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] that does not slow down Basar ... Thank You Drushik

    Just do not understand why two zips instead of one .... Drushik would you care to shed light on that?

    And there is [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] that shows the map version ..... map icon is still not shown (just OT) and this ux slows down Basar settings paging, but hey it is a nice touch !!!! Obrigado Rafa !!!! (and Pongo for the original creation)

    Spoiler: Rafa's mod sys mod
    [mapchanger]
    map_ta = "2015.09"
    map_nt = "2015.Q3"

    where ta is TomTom and nt HERE

    Ux plugin mapchanger_here_tomtom.zip works with basarsoft.apk. However, we should understand that he works on the principle of a two-position switch wherein the first position = 1st priority and the second position = 2nd priority. Irrespective of the maps that are used , there will always be selected OR 1st priority map provider OR 2nd priority map provider so if we combined TM + TT , TopMap maps include the " here" button because they have a higher priority than TomTom .

    @iVoy The ux plugin has a built- switch whereby , if for a particular country is not present .fbl selected map provider , be activated .fbl other ( non-elected ) map provider.

    In the code of ux plugin is possible to add buttons for other providers but it will have no effect on the operation of the plugin because it will have a new button duplicate the role with one of the existing ones.

    The only practical solution is to use avicsyncgjamapchanger utility that works on the principle of renaming the folder and is able to work with the 4 map provider.

    A quick feedback on the Basar with osiris's (and others') creation:

    If you run Basar with orisis's hacks only it is super fast to boot, to page, to work ..... simply perfect. Well, almost as we still are after more and more, aren't we?

    Then you can add a lot of pongo and the crew's plugins (trial and error will show what works what does not) but ....

    * the boot will become laggy
    * the settings paging (going through different settings pages i.e. settings, sound, back, etc) will become a bit laggy, especially with the mapchanger on board (you can use Drushiks map provider zips to minimise the slowdown)
    * you may end up with orisis's hacks not working (simply do not replace his .zips with others)

    Streets are different on HE and TT on some positions.

    mapchanger_here_tomtom.zip works on Basar, but always is TT icon on screen.

    I do not get HE icon even when I'm using HERE. Looking at the code and debugging it's not hitting HERE logic. You can't based the fact that there are two choices: HERE and TomTom that it's working. If you look at the code (once again), it's always show TomTom and HERE regardless if you have either provider or both. No logic to know which map you have to allow you to pick from it. The mapchanger.zip and mapchanger2.zip is pretty same as mapchanger_here_tomtom.zip Just look at the code!

    It IS working, how do I know?

    I have 2 TomTom (Mx and NA) and 2 Here (Mx and NA) maps in maps folder. If i dont use mapchanger, Basar shows only one TT map (MX) and one Here (NA), with mapchanger i can pick: if I pick TT I see 2 TTs, if I choose Here I see 2 Hs.

    In conclusion it works

    What do you mean "see"? I just tested mapprovider.zip and mapprovider2.zip by doing the following:
    1. Have map of US from HERE and map of Virgin Island from TomTom
    2. My current location is US
    3. Select HERE, I see US map
    4. Select TomTom, I see US map (why?)
    TomTom is only Virgin Island and since I'm in US, why is it using HERE? In both case, no HE nor TT icon showing.

    With original UX (original skin etc.) 32 items, aded only "mapchanger_here_tomtom.zip" like 33 item, and it work. HH and TT icons are there also. And yes, it slows down a little bit.

    By see I mean the map is recognised by the app and visible.

    There is no icon for TT nor Here displayed on the navigation page (but they are visible in the settings), but the maps are changed (different street layout)

    My original problem was that Basar did not recognise the maps properly when having 2 different sets (see my previous post), with the mapchanger and chnages applied the program sees the maps with no probs.

    I am using Mexico and NA TomTom 2014.6 and HERE NA and Mexico 2015.Q4

    Here is an early release for adding Speedometer (purple for dedication to Prince...RIP)
    1. Enable it in Extra Settings
    2. Click on speedometer for Trip Stats, and longpress to disabled (you have to enabled it again under Extra Settings)
    Future release will includes more options. Thanks to Catymag for helping to alpha test.
