    Since HNR is built using road data for entire regions consisting of multiple countries or states, you have to have all of the maps for that region to use it. If you don't have them all, you can still prevent issues by

    Default Are *.hsp and *.hnr files further used in IGO Nextgen ?

    Hello together,

    i got the inteligent routing data on my nextgen but they are dont used. At the license menu i can see them red written so
    i think they are not used because somethink went wrong or Igho nextgen dont use the *.hsp and *.hnr files further ?!

    Guide

    1. Do you think .HNR files are unused ? Why ?! Nextgen is normal iGO but as new edition :-) so, no more code-name known as Primo, but it's known as NextGen now.

    2. Your .HNR files are marked as "red" in the "About iGO - Menu" because that indicates the other maps (.fbl) are required. Each one .HNR represent the one big certain region ! So you need possess all maps included in each region as generally, but not always. When you have not all maps then iGO warns you about that ! For example: if you remove one map between Russia and Germany (map of Czech Republic for example), you'll get error by making a new international trace between Russia and Germany, or you get new trace routed over countries/maps which you own (for example through Hungary - far away). HNR files are assigned for faster planning international routes, so you need hold all necessary maps for fast route planning between all countries (on the continent).

    - if you want ignore all incomplete regions (if u need saving space on your SD-card by deleting some maps), you can add this entry into your SYS.TXT:

    [hnr]
    ignored_missing_country_ids=*

    [route]
    hnr_ignored_missing_country_ids=*
    3. Have you "red" any .HSP files in About-iGO-menu too ? Or have you all .HSP files marked as "red" ? These files are assigned for interstate (national) fast route planning. If you have not mapfile (.fbl) adjunct to certain fast-routing file (.hsp) so iGO will report a error in "About-iGO-menu" too I think.

    Thanks for your reply lameriq

    The hnr files now working fine with your option "[route] hnr_ignored_missing_country_ids=* ". Its because if you dont have all map files from Europe for exaple the points are marked red because its not working without your option.
    The hsp files are further marked red ... dont know how i get this working. All HSP files are marked red ... with "not active content"...
