    Default Resolution problem.

    I have a 2Din radio with WinCE 6.0 that came with igo primo that works well. I tried changing to Nextgen but it has a resolution problem. It blows up the image 4x so you can't see anything. I think it must be the skin and sys.txt problem but I can't find the solution.

    The unit is 800x480 and should work with NextGen just fine.

    How it looks (not my image but same problem):

    Thank you for your help!

    Try this in your sys.txt

    [rawdisplay]
    dpi=160

    Or try this in your sys.txt

    [rawdisplay]
    dpi=240

    Thanks for your reply.

    I tried all dpi settings but all it does make everything very small. It does not let you see 100% of the screen. 240 dpi should be optimal for 800x480.

    I kinda did a dirty fix but it only worked for 90%. I edited data\ui_nextgen\layout\medium\ui\params.css

    It looks now like this:

    @params {
    screen_x:0;
    screen_y:0;
    screen_w:800;
    screen_h:480;

    And the program is in 800x480 but the map is not. It all looks good and good resolution but when you want to navigate you see the map is blown up 4 times. You can see the map zoomed in 4x and you can't navigate. It drives me crazy.

    Have a look here:
    Code:

    As you can see, there are a lot of possibilities for screen resolutions. You have to try different settings. But do not edit the css file for it.

    I tried that and it does not work on my device. It works in the emulator so I think they messed up something with the software. It's from China so I am not really surprised.

    I have the same problem and changing DPI does not change the actual Screen size, only changes the contents inside the screen Size.
    I have a 2DIN dvd GPS Igo 2.4 is fine and works well when I try to load next gen this is where you see the loading scree and you only see 50% of the IGO logo because the other half is hiding behind the right hand side of the screen, then when it gets to the language you canít see the buttons because they are off the bottom of the scree some ware, sure changing DPI make everything bigger or smaller but does not change the actual size of the Frame that all the contents are sitting in.
    Hope this makes sense and no I donít have a fix for this been looking for one.

    Those images seems to have sth wrong in your software.....
    Seems that software try to run NextGen.....but using data.zip from Primo.....or you have ux inside from Primo...or

    For testing purpose try this one:
    [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]

    Try as it is....do not change anything!
    Just add one map!
    Nothing else.
