Guide iGo Primo & iGo nextgen - content folder on external SdCard on Android 4.4.4 , 5.0 , 5.1.1

    I solved it like this.
    1. Installed Primo in root
    2. on sdcard created a folder addons, in it, a subfolder content
    3. from root folder igo/content moved building, maps, cars, dem , poi to storage/extsdcard/addons (where storage/extsdcard is the sdcard name) and populated it
    4. in root igo/content folder, created a new map folder filled with basemap

    5. in sys.txt text added in [folders] section :
    Spoiler: Code

global_cfg must be in original folder

also you can put lang and voice folders in external card but in the internal storage in content folder, in lang and voice folder put 1 lang and 1 voice file

    also work on:

    KitKat 4.4.4
    Lollipop 5.0
    Lollipop 5.0.1
    Marshmallow 6.0.1

Sometimes pictures say more than words! Use X-plore: you see the path and name for all your equipment. See here:

This is a good tip. You can also do the same on WinCE too. This is ideal for having multiple software versions sharing the same map etc??

You also need to mention that global_cfg is needed in original folder too
