I should also note that I'm using WinCE. There is a Branding maker named KasteL, and he has 2 different downloads for his Branding. WinCe and Android. I haven't yet looked at the difference, but apparently there is. Try overwriting your branding.ini over mine.

    EDIT:
I'm looking into both of your problems, probably the same. I haven't a clue why it isn't working. One possibility is to overwrite the branding.ini as stated above. Another possibility is within the poi_visibilities.txt. The first line in mine is "|root", and in other branding it's "|root|0"

Try changing this. at the moment I don't have a gps running Android, so I can't help with that. If its WinCE, I guess I have to look a little deeper. Let me know if anything works.
Changing from "|root" to "|root|0" worked for me. Now, my poi_visiblities.txt in save folder is same as yours. However, the icons are not visible for selection/assignment. How do I do that ? Do I need update any parameter in any of the files ?
All I get is the blue icons.
    Thanks in advance.

Hi everyone it's been a while. I'm stumped. I've tried a lot of ways to get primo 2.4 to work and finally succeeded. I don't know what took so long to get it running. But the branding I can't for the life of me get it to work. I actually can't get ANY branding to work, not even stock blue icons.

Am I missing something with the branding. Is there a license?

    No
Branding do not need any license. But, if your software is customized (main exe), it is possible that it required different, also customized, branding. Like Becker software.

None of my files(except branding and data.zip) have been customized. they've all been downloaded from here.

Also, before anyone asks, I have 4 different Chines gps systems that have ran all versions of iGo, but on 2.4, the POIs haven't worked for me.

Have you "enabled" the POIs to show on the map under the Map Settings menu? In Primo, you have to specifically tell it to show POIs on the map - I think only Airports are enabled by default...

Also, you don't need a branding.zip file at all to see the stock blue POI icons. Maybe trying removing the branding.zip file completely and see if that helps (if the issues what I mentioned above).
