As I understand, unit has SD card slot where should be folder iGO where all files should be copied, same as for rooted phones and tablets.
Also I think that Android is 4.4.x version.

So if You just copy iGO folder (2. from first post) on root of SD card and install .apk (1. from first post), it should work.

    Does it or not?

If not, then you have to find where iGO folder should be placed to work

    Hello wojpen,

Yes, I saw this exact post as well. I was doing searches before asking my questions and saw the same post.
However, that topic you are referencing to is for a WinCE head units. I have a pure Android head unit. These pure android head units are very different, much more popular and powerful. Because they are pure android you can also root them and modify them very similar to their phone and tablet cousins. In fact, there is a very large community in the xda-forum dedicated to these units (from a developers perspective). That is why in my opinion there should be a sub-forum only for these android 2din head units (as well as for the lesser WinCE head units).

With that said, the instructions on that topic are for WinCE, not Android head unit. That is why I am specifically asking about the installation instructions for the android. If I change the installation steps in order to be in-line with the way android head units work, then will the "everything in threes is perfect" method work properly? I just want some kind of clarity, because I do not know what to expect as an outcome. Yes - I know.... you will say try it and experiment =)

Anyways - here is my original post about my TTS Pro issue with the head unit:
[Only registered and activated users can see links. ]

Apparently this was an issue that many people still have. I was working with the xda-forum community on this as well. Several senior members feel it is an issue with the iGO app. There is some disconnect between the android audio stream and gps audio stream (related to TTS) that is affecting the proper function. The regular voices work, but the TTS voices have several different issues. So, I am again trying to find a solution. If only I could find a senior iGO android person and work together with my senior xda person - I am sure we can finally come up with the solution.

    Thanks,
    ggee

Colleague - have you seen my question?
@ Nawaf - here - [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] said accurate you what to do
So what else do you ask?

Version 3 in 1 - based - on the system folder android - using it as a place of installation (Android folder can be internal memory or SD card).
Sorry I do not have 2din - so you try to do
    regards

    There is also sys.txt.
Read the first post, clear phone, install and use correctly.
    The program works without problems.
At most - you can increase the amount of memory software - it is about the post.

    PS.
In a moment I'll put a package containing iGO prepared specially for the NEXUS 7 1920x1200 - which was crafted specifically to conserve memory space.

Hi be interested to try out this on my own nexus 7 2013 model and just wonder if you have a link to the specially prepared nexus 7 build you mention above ? running 6.0.1 FW. thanks.

I installed and I populated the apk with the missing parts (maps etc) but it doesn't save the settings and the favorites. Every time I restart, I have to do the whole setup again.

I've tried to respected all the specifications from the 1st post, but I think something I don't do it accordingly.

If it is possible, please, can you explain me as for a noob what can I do to fix the problem?

Thank you for the good job you have done here!

    Hello @ adishaq ,
That's what you write - indicates that the program does not save your settings.
Be who you are android?, and where you installed the iGO apk? (Int. Memory - root, int. Memory / Android, or SD Card / Android)?

Thank you, Wojpen. I have an android 6, installed on soxy xperia z3 compact.

First I installed on sd card, after i installed on the path you indicated /Android/data/com.nng.igoprimoisr2013march24.javaclient/files/iGO

I mention that I uninstalled and deleted everything after every installation.

    Cheers,
    Adi

This kit works great, installed it on card, the other Primo that I had refused to work after I updated to Android 6.
But I have a strange behavior now: some roads are blue, no matter what color scheme I use. This happens only on 2d mode, in 3d it doesn't show.

How can I fix it (other than using 3d)?

    Change in sys.txt this

    [debug]
    show_lane_info=1

    to
    [debug]
    ;show_lane_info=1

    It can be better
