Default IGO 9.6.7.281004 street names covering vehicle position, Help Please

Hi all, This is my first post so hi to everyone.
I have an Android KitKat powered Erison es2008a double din in my motorhome running igo 9. Everything works perfectly except the view on the screen is wrong, the road name covers the position of the vehicle and where there are multi lane areas its hard to see which turn etc i need.
I have the windows ce version in my van and that is fine.
The resolution of my screen is 1024x600 i think and have tried to make lots of changes in the sys.txt but nothing seems to work.

Is it possible to move the position of the road name so it is at the bottom of the screen (menu button is also not at bottom of screen)?
could it be I need a different skin or to change some sys settings.
    Hope you can help
    many thanks

    Code:
Please Login or Register to see the links
It will remove street names balloons and names will be written inside the streets

I don't think that will help this issue. This issue doesn't appear to be the street names on the map, but the street name displayed at bottom of the screen (the current street display).

There is a bigger problem here is that Primo is not filling up the entire screen, which is causing this problem. There is something wrong with the Primo resolution settings. The "Menu", "Speed" and current street name sections should be at the very bottom of the screen, not an inch and a half up the screen, like they are now (which is why it's covering the current position icon).

Has it always displayed like this? What is the screen resolution? Can you post the contents of your sys.txt?

Hi and thanks for your replies so far and just to add I'm a him not a her!

It is the screen size thats the problem and it has always been like this. The spec says the Erison ES2008A has a 1024x600 capacitive display. Here is my sys.txt

I can't seem to download the sys.txt file... Can you just copy and paste the contents into the post itself (as text)?

Oh - and by the way, I fixed the "her" references in my original reply right after I posted it. Not sure why I was saying "her"! :-) Sorry about that!

Thanks - that helps. However, since I've not very familiar with specifics for the Android version of Primo, I'm not sure what *should* be in sys.txt for resolution. I would assume that the "auto" method would work though. Maybe the data.zip that you are using just doesn't have files for your resolution?

Now that we have the info we need, I'm sure that someone more seasoned with the Android version of Primo will help out though (I use Primo on WinCE, so I'm not "up to par" on Android-specific issues).

While waiting for someone else, can you open your data.zip file (in the same dir as sys.txt) and see what resolutions it shows under the "ui_igo9" folder? If you don't have a 1024_600 directory, I'm assuming that is why it's not displaying properly. However, I'm not sure if there is a 1024_600 compatible data.zip available or if there is another sys.txt setting that will tell Primo to automatically "adjust" to that screen size.

I really need to load Primo on one of my 5 or so Android devices so that I can get more familiar with the Android specific settings...

Sorry I can't help more at this point. I'll see what I can figure out in case nobody else steps in to help (but I'm sure they will!).

EDIT: DAMN - see, someone jumped into help before I even finished my post! :-)

Hi again I have added the txt to my sys file which now looks like this

    Code:
Please Login or Register to see the links
The screen is still the same, in my data file I have 1024_768 / 480_272 / 800_480
Am I missing the 1024_600 data or is it stored elsewhere?
