    Default GPS Signal detection

    Dear All
I have bought a car dvd gps system and working fine with the software IGO primo 2.0 (2012 version), I have downloaded now to other updated versions from the IGO, they log in but they keep searching for a GPS signal and cant find any one.
I replace back the SD card of the old software it gets a signal instantly and works fine.
Do I need some files to be placed or included in these software before starting.
    Thank you for your help

It would be much easier if exact program versions and OS were specified (old and new)

You can try to copy sys.txt from old SD to new and try it.
    Backup it first !

If this doesn't help, you should post both "sys.txt" files to be compared and to be able to find what modifications should be done in new one.

You probably need to tell "other version" what GPS port to use; like Easy said, post your Primo 2.0 sys.txt
