This software's and maps works but its to slow.

I have 408 license files in the license map, maybe i can use only licenses i need?
I have delete all maps, buildings, tmc, phoneme, speedcam and poi files i dont need.
I have only Netherlands, Belguim, Germany and France files.
Also i have deleted all the content inside dem.
I dont use TTS and i have only 1 file for language and voice.

When i listen to music on a sd card iGO is crashing, listening radio no problems.
Which files can i remove to speed up iGO?
I had the same problem. Maybe the navigator and music player use the same bus.
My device has two slots that are parallel and adjacent.
In fact, the problem was solved by playing the music through the USB.
    I hope I was helpful.

@OP - Are you playing music through the iGo application interface or through the 2DIN radio interface? I think that's an important difference to be aware of. I would only use iGO to play the music if you have to - otherwise, use that function of your 2DIN (to help unload processing from iGo).

Also, I agree with @Boki_srb - a lot of WinCE head-units don't use internal memory at all for "applications" - just OS. For example, on my Rosen 2DIN WinCE headunit, everything iGo related is stored on the SD card and there is no internal storage to put it on even if I wanted to (plus the 2DIN is hardcoded to run the app from SD - and there is no way to change the location of the app it runs). I think that most WinCE 2DIN units are designed like this. Plus, it make it a LOT easier to update/change things when everything is stored on SD card (sys.txt entries, add skins, add UX files, etc) - and also, like mentioned, you can usually get SD cards that are faster than the internal storage anyway.

I would avoid trying to "separate" the iGo app and it's "content" on WinCE devices. I can understand it for Android, but WinCE is very different in "design".

I was playing the music through the second slot for micro SD.
I repeat: my device has two slots that are parallel and adjacent.
In the first micro sd slot was the navigator and often crashed.
Since I played the music via USB and a small adapter the problem was solved.

But are you using the iGo Primo applications music player to play the music or are you using a "function" on the radio-side of your 2DIN to play the music?

For example, my Rosen 2DIN also has 2 SD slots. One slot is "dedicated" to navigation and can only be access by the navigation app that is also running from that slot. The other SD slot is only accessible by the "radio-side" of the 2DIN - and it can play music from it on it's own, without using the iGo music player.

I'm just trying to understand if you are using the iGo music player to play music or the "Radio-side" of the 2DIN to play music from teh SD card slot....

I have the same functions of your Rosen: the music is played via the radio function !!!

Ok, that helps. A lot of people actually play music through the Primo application (it has a music player built in as well). So we weren't sure if you were using that or using the 2DIN radio SD music player (makes a big difference).

Also - when you say it's "too slow" - in what way? Too slow to load up initially, screen updates are too slow? Just trying to get a better understanding of the "slowness".

Do you happen to have a link to the unit that you have?

Ha! I thought that you were the OP of this thread. I was asking those questions to the OP - not you. :-) That explains the confusion!

So - OP (@uckagit) - can you please clarify whether or not you are playing music through the iGo Music Player or through the radios built-in music player? And also, what do you mean by the application being "slow"?

I listen musci on the second sd slot, not on igo music player.
I have deleted all license files i do not need and now works igo much faster.
Now i have only 2 license files for here 2016.q2 maps but i have also tmc files for netherlands, germany, belguim and france.
I do not know what license do I need for this 4 tmc files.
It does not seem smart to use all tmc license files.

The reason why these 2DIN likes to put things on external card is because it's easier to upgrade. So get yourself a decent speed external card so it will run as fast as it can. And doing multiple things to same bus (such as processing map and playing music from same SD slot) will degrade performance.
