This issue never comes because of memory problem of your device...like map,TTS,dem etc
Don't forget that all chinese device having cracked software....Never original!

If problem exist try to add a new software...
But the thing is that it started happening all of the sudden after over a year of working normally. No changes to the navigation app or any content. And it does the same thing on a fresh SD card. This tells me that it's not application/content related (or else it would have done it all of the time). Only other potential issue (besides a hardware problem) would be if the files he is using are corrupt.

@OP - have you tried "scanning" the SD card on a windows machine to see if it reports any corruption?

I have no doubt that a hardware issue can cause this. If you have a bad memory chip, the device may have "disabled" that chip and you now have much less RAM to work with (for example). Could even be an issue with the SD card reader as well.

    Delete complete folder save
Delete all contents in folder dem
Delete all contents in folder speedcam
If you are doing this on PC, empty "Recycle bin" afterwards
Copy everything from SD to PC, format SD (disable "Quick Format")
    Copy everything back to SD
Navigation will start as new, you will have to configure all

Other than trying a hard-reset of the head-unit, I'm not sure what else to do. Have you tried a hard-reset? It's almost like some of the RAM chips in the head-unit went bad or something. I'd be curious to see how much RAM the unit reports (check the crash file on the SD card and post contents).

Problem solved, thanks for the answers.

After deleting the Dem map, I config the system again and no problem at all.

    Thank You

    Grt Pitty.

Glad to here that you resolved the issue. I am curious though - it previously worked fine with the same .dem files before you started having this issue? Just trying to understand why it would just start having issues all of the sudden when it worked fine previously... unless the .dem files became corrupt... it would be interesting to see if it continues to works fine if you put fresh .dem files back on.
