    Default Android 4.4.4 iGO question

    Hi All,

Iím new to this forum, and I have (of course) a question, which hopefully you can help me out with.

I have a Chinese double DIN navigation system (RK3188 Quad Core)
Its running Android 4.4.4 and it has a 800*480 screen.

It was delivered with a pre-installed iGO Primo (9.6.7.235654 May 16 2012) and it uses an external ďGPSĒ SD card which contains a folder called iGO in which the following folders / files are present:

    Content (folder)
    Debug (folder)
    License (folder)
    Save (folder)
    Ui_android (folder)
    Ux (folder)
    Branding.zip
    Data.zip
    iGOprimo_v9.6.7.apk
    sys.txt

Its working fine but the maps are out dated.

Therefore I would like to update it, preferable with the latest iGO version.

I downloaded several versions of iGO but they all contain .exe files and not .apk.
On this forum I found the suggestion that under settings->GPS I can select an .exe but thatís not the case with the navigation system that I have.

Also If I have found an .apk I donít have a clue how to get it working on an external SD card since the build in memory of the navigation system is limited.

Could you please give advice on which version of iGO is suitable and how I can install it on my system using the SD card as main storage?

    Thank you for your support!

    @ iiyama

First you should know that an exe file points to a winCE build, while the apk is the setup-Android program.

Whatever apk you will install, it's worth reading this threads first:
