Hi there, First i would like to say what a fantastic forum. Ive been on here searching post for the last 2 hours. I have installed the iGO Primo 9.6.29.3889 for Android and all the maps. It navigates fantastically (used today for a long journey) question is

Do i need to install something to add traffic information (its not available on my device no options)
ive tried adding things to my system.text in save/profiles/01 but when inserted into my device it makes me reconfigure my settings.

I have a double din xtrons unit from china running android kit kat 4.4.2 off a micro SD card with no root (not sure if/how to do this)

any help would be greatly appreciated like i said i must have been searching on here for two hours and two days on google

    thank you

You need hardware for TMC reception. Receiver.
If you don't have it built-in, there are some aftermarket solutions, but a little bit expensive. Google it. Also you must have on your device the ability of connecting (USB or similar).

Thank you for your quick response. I have Internet if that's what you mean as my head unit connects to my iPhone and gets online that way. From what I have read this is possible I just can't seem to make it work

Wow Fantastic, I now have the traffic option. I think i may still have a few issues in connecting to the internet as it doesnt show any traffic around. Also i cant use the google search for places. I think a bit more research is needed. I think i need something adding to the sys.txt file (I had to create one and put it on the sd card)

thanks so much for your help

For best results internet connection should be established before program start

Only thing missing for HERE search powered by Google to work should be
    Code:
Please Login or Register to see the links
    in sys.txt

But don't expect too much from this search
Sometimes it's good, but sometimes not so...

And "just in case.." use this [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]
